5 | AT PARTY

Chapter 5,

After some struggle, Ellie remembers Ariza and calls her. Talking to Ariza gives her new ideas that give the painting a fresh perspective

The day of the party is approaching, and Ellie's painting is nearly complete. The painting, originally intended as a surprise for Aryan, is now also a surprise for Alex. The next day is the party, and Ellie and Ariza plan to give the painting to Alex. After all the hard work, Ellie has finally completed the painting.

Next morning,

It's Aryan's birthday today. Alex has sent Ellie the address and timing of the party via WhatsApp. Ellie feels a bit strange about attending the party since she doesn't know Aryan, nor does Aryan know her. However, it is important for her to go because she has Alex's gift, Just then, Ellie's phone rings, and it's Ariza.

Ariza: "Remember, we have to go to Aryan's party today? Is the painting ready?"

Ellie: "Yes, the painting is done, but I feel quite weird about going. Could you go with the painting instead of me?"

Ariza: "Please don't say that. You made the painting, and you know Alex never says anything. It's important for you to go, so please explain it to him."

Ellie: "Okay, I'll go. We won't stay long,"

Ariza: "Great! By the way, what are you wearing?"

Ellie: "I have a black saree; I'm thinking of wearing that."

Ariza:Wow, a saree! My Indian best friend. You must teach me how to wear one; I love Indian dresses, especially sarees.

Ellie: "Sure, I'll teach you. What will you wear?"

Ariza: "I'll wear a western dress, haha. I'm sticking to western style."

Ariza: "I'll come to pick you up. The party starts at 8, so I'll come to your place at 7:30."

Ellie: "Okay, thank you, bestie. Oh, and we need to get a gift for Aryan as well."

At 7:40, Ellie gets a call from Ariza.

Ariza: "Ellie, are you ready?"

Ellie: "Yes, I'm ready. Where are you?"

Ariza: "I'm downstairs at your place. Come out."

Ellie: "Come inside."

Ariza: "It's 7:40. We'll be late. We need to give Alex his gift and also get something for Aryan."

Ellie: "Yes, you're right. I'll come outside."

Ariza: "Okay, I'm waiting..."

As soon as Ellie steps outside, Ariza reacts,

"Wow, Ellie, you look like an Indian actress Today, Aryan's eyes will only be on you. Just watch!"

Ellie: "You always say such things, Ariza. Anyway, I do look fine, right?

Everyone will be in western attire, and I'm in a saree. They might think I'm an aunty."

Ariza: "No, you look really beautiful. "

Ellie: "Laughing...."

When Alex comes out to meet them, he immediately compliments Ellie.

Alex: "Hey, beautiful girls! Thank you for coming..."

Ellie: "Thank you for inviting us. And here's your painting. I hope you and the person in the painting like it."

Alex: Thanks to you, Ellie. You've really helped me. By the way, Ellie, you look absolutely gorgeous.

Ariza: "Excuse me, Mr. don't flirting with her."

Alex: You too miss ariza, actually you are  looking like a model.

Ariza: Do you wanna taste my heel?

Ellie: "Enough, both of you. Let's go inside now."

Alex: By the way, Ellie, is she usually this rude, or is it just because she's seeing me?

Alex: "Come inside. You're most welcome."

As Ellie enters, she feels uneasy because no one else is dressed like her. She feels different in her saree.

Ellie: "Ariza, I don't feel comfortable giving the painting to Alex. Let's leave."

Ariza: "Ellie, what's wrong? Fine, we'll give Aryan the gift after the cake cutting and then leave."

While Ariza and Ellie are talking, a waiter brings them lemon juice.

Ariza: "Here, take this glass. Calm down, Ellie. Everything is normal."

Throughout the party, Ellie notices not only the boys but also the girls looking at her. And.....
