Chapter 3: The Mistake

The creature lands itself on top of Sunny pinning him to the ground as it opens its mouth reviling rows of disgustingly sharp teeth. 

Sunny's trying his best to resist but is mortified and isn't able to move. Clementine steps back in shock and says "Shit I have to have something..." under her breath. 

She ends up pulling out a pen from her left pocket and says "The fuck am I meant to do with this?!" as she clicks the pen. Click* the pen expands into the handle of a huge double-sided battle-axe made from glowing orange light. 

Clementine's eyes grow and for the first time ever you see her smile "Now this is something I can work with" she says triumphantly as she runs up to the Creature and Sunny and pulls the creature away from him flinging the creature into the air as she sprints up to it and slashes it in half mid-air as it falls to the ground, dead. 

"Woah where did you learn to fight like that?!" Sunny says in amazement. Clementine looks down at the double-sided battle axe as it reverts back into a pen. She slips it into her pocket and says "Self-taught" wiping some of the dark ooze from her face. she turns to you and Sunny and says "Heh, if I killed you both I could win right now... You know that, right?" 

Sunny eyes dart around and he says "But you would never do that right?" his voice is strained and scared "I'm not going to kill you dude, I'm mean sure but I'm not a murderer plus I don't care that much about some dumb game" 

You point to the corpse sliced in half on the floor. Clementine's face goes red and she says "Okay that one doesn't count-" She says this as she stomps her foot on the ground as the colored panel that she stepped on breaks off and falls into the cloudy abyss "That's not supposed to happen-" Kaizo says confused. let's get the three of you out of there... in a bright flash of light, you are standing back in the main room facing Kaizo and Eliza who stand on top of the stage. 

Kaizo smiles and says "You all did great!... well not really... you kinda failed which isn't good but you know how it is" Clementine crosses her arms and says "Actual I don't know how it is and frankly I'm fucking sick of this place I want to go home! Wherever that is..." Clementine looks down at the ground but you can see her eyes tear up a bit. "How about we talk about this later, I'm sure you all are very tired from failing all day," Eliza says, she flicks her hand, and the door to your guys' rooms opens up. Clementine walks to her room wiping her face with one hand and slamming the door behind her. 

"Should we go... help her?" Sunny says "I know she has been nothing but rude so far but... she saved my life so we kinda have to... right?" You don't really want to but you nod your head anyway. Sunny walks up to her room and knocks on her door. As he waits for a response you see that Eliza and Kaizo watching the two of you as you talk. You walk up to Sunny and point to the two of them, Sunny looks up gives you a thumbs up, and whispers "Good to know" 

... 

"WHO IS IT?" Clementine yells from inside her room "Heya!" Sunny says in a sweet tone "It's Sunny! I just wanted to make sure your okay-" "FUCK OFF I DON'T NEED YOUR HELP FLOWER BOY" she says, angry. 

Sunny thinks for a moment but opens the door anyway. 

Clementine's room is less bright than yours, it has cobwebs in the corners, is dimly lit with black walls, and has different kinds of guitars that you don't know the names of on the walls. She sits on her bed, crying. Despite her being a mean person to you, Sunny, and everyone else you kinda feel bad for her... when Sunny opens the door she immediately looks up, furious. "THE FUCK DID I TELL YOU FLOWER BOY, I WANT TO BE LEFT ALONE!" 

You notice her reaching for something in her pocket. "I'm sorry I just wanted to help," he says stuttering and walking back a bit standing closer to you or maybe just the door, you can't really tell. Clementine gets off her bed and pulls out the pen turning it into the orange battle-axe "IF YOU DONT GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY ROOM RIGHT NOW I MIGHT JUST KILL YOU" 

"Clementine I just wanted to talk!" 

Sunny says before getting slashed in half by Clementine. 

You want to scream but your throat won't let you. 

Clementine looks you dead in the eyes and says "It's Clem now." you look down to see Sunny's body sliced in half laying lifeless on the floor. 

You can't move. 

The door to Clem's room opens and you turn around to see Kaizo whose smile instantly fades when he realizes what happened "Oh this is no good at all!" he says as he snaps his fingers and in seemingly seconds Sunny's wound disappears 

"Wh- what happened" sunny says holding his head and struggling to get up. Kaizo chuckles and says "You died bud" picking Sunny up off the "I what?-" Sunny says very much confused as you would be if you got told you had died, "I think everyone should get to bed," Kaizo says leading you and Sunny out of Clem's room both you and Sunny go to bed but before the two of you enter into your rooms he gives you a double thumbs up along with a warm smile. You smile back and flop down on your bed once you enter your room. You turn so that your head faces the ceiling. 

You have so much to think about, when will this end, what's the goal of this place, what on earth is going on... you close your eyes and drift off to sleep.
