Chapter 4: Truth Seeker

"Can you believe that she tried to kill him!?" you hear Kaizo whisper as you are half awake "Yes, I can believe it actually" you hear Eliza respond quietly 'damn these walls are thin' you think to yourself 

"We need to do something to help bring the three together..." Kaizo says "But you know that we aren't supposed to interfere," Eliza says in a louder tone "Shh!" Kaizo says "They can't know or else this won't work" 

'What won't work?' you think to yourself 'the games?' you really wish you could ask questions but you know it wouldn't really get you anywhere with how little information Kaizo and Eliza are willing to give out when they know people are listening, but when they think no one can hear them? that's when you can get information. you get up from your bed and open up the door, you're the first one up from what you can see. 

 "Hello, Indigo!" Kaizo says in his normal, cheery tone. You turn upward to face the stage and there they are, Kaizo and Eliza. 

You wonder sometimes if they ever move from the stage. 

*creak* the door to Clem's room opens up and she stumbles out, you can tell she didn't sleep much last night. 

"hey indigo." she says walking past you, completely ignoring Kaizo and Eliza. 

you see her now standing in front of Sunnys room and she knocks on the door. You decide to walk over to her just so that if anything happens you would be there to see it. Sunny opens the door and looks up at Clem "Oh" he says surprised "Why are you-" "Im sorry" Clem blurts out "What I did is crazy and stupid and wrong and... I'm sorry" 

Sunny looks at Clem and smiles before saying "I understand that you are sorry but you killed me, on purpose, because I wanted to help you... A sorry won't help anything. show me that you care, show me that you regret what you did, then I'll forgive you." 

Clem looks at Sunny, stunned, and then looks down at her feet "I understand" 

"Cool! Who's ready to win some games" Sunny says with a sparkle in his eyes "I know I am~!" Kaizo says loudly in a sing-songy voice appearing behind you 

"How did you- never mind" Clem says waving off Kaizo. 

Kaizo clears his throat takes a step back and says "So! Have any of you guys played hide and seek before" "Yeah?" Clem says as Sunny gives a thumbs up and you nod your head. 

"Good!" Kaizo says "So I suppose I don't need to do any explanation?" he says tilting his head to one side. "wait who are we hiding from-" She is cut off by a bright flash of light and when the light clears you are standing on a pile of mulch next to a kids play structure. 

beyond the play structure all you can see is fog 

"So are we just supposed to hide?" Clem says confused. 

you look around for a hiding spot and end up seeing a pair of glowing yellow eyes, the same that you saw on the creature that almost killed Sunny. you tap him on the back and point to the eyes in the fog 

"Huh? What is it-" he says "Oh no, I'm going to die again aren't I..." Clem looks at the two of you and says "What are you to on abo-" before she can say anything else sunny slaps his hand over clems mouth to prevent her from making any more noise. the eyes seem to shut and you hear someone counting down in a voice you don't recognise. 

'30... 29... 28..." 

 You see clem sprint over to the play structure and into the huge yellow tube slide 

"27... 26... 25..." 

Sunny runs over to a bush next to a small tree with a tire swing 

"24... 23... 22..."
