Carmen's pov:
This isn't just any normal date. This is a perfectly planned setup to catch Tazmin or the infamous assassin who killed over 20 of my associates. Nobody in my organization has been able to catch her nor find her but that's all going to change after tonight.
I'm going to be the one to take her down single-handedly. All it took was some research and some flirting to get to this point were we are at now.
I checked my watch and Tazmin is running late. "I hope she doesn't stand me up. Although that would be a smart move-"
"Carmen?"
I turned around seeing Tazmin standing behind me. "Tazmin? It's so nice to see you again and you look amazing. Is that why it took you so long?" I laughed pulling her into a tight embrace. She smells good too.
"You as well and no I apologize something came up." She explained.
Yeah something illegal.
"No worries we all got busy lives." I pulled out a chair for her. Tazmin thanked me. "Haha mines is a little bit busier than the average person though. So that brings me to ask you. Are you okay with that?" She questioned.
"Okay with what?"
"You know, some days mostly nights where I can't pick up the phone or even text."
The waitress came over with our menus.
"As long as you don't forget about me it's okay." I laughed grabbing my menu. I would never be cool with a girl doing that but this isn't a real date and it damn sure won't turn into a real relationship so all of that doesn't matter.
