Before the Ever After

That escalated quickly...

The lab exploded.

That's the last thing anyone remembered.

They're not sure how long it's been.

They're all knocked out cold.

No one remembers anything after the lab exploded.

But... Now they're not there.

They aren't at the lab.

They don't know where they are.

They only know that their whole body hurts.

Their vision is blurry, and they can't see anything.

They can't hear. Their Ears are ringing and they can't hear anything.

They can't hear, but, occasionally, they hear some muffled voices. But they don't recognize any of the voices.

Valentino opened his eyes, his head hurt, and body feeling weird.
He sat up, and realized that he was in a different place. He wasn't in the lab anymore. It was weird. He blacked out in the lab, but now he was somewhere different.
He looked around in a panic.
He was in a weird room. The place was dark and scary. There were human sized test tubes everywhere. Huge metal tables were spread out in the room. There were also papers spread out all on the counters that were against the walls, and multiple small desks and chairs. There were bekers and test tubes, like in the lab that exploded.
Thank, Bingus...
Valentino looked next to him. He was searching for his friends. He was worried about them.
Where were they?
He spotted his friends on metal tables, all awake, and looking around in confusion.
It seemed everyone was confused.
And they were all chained to the metal tables with big metal chains on their ankles and arms so that they couldn't get up.
But who would do this? And why?

Everyone seemed okay, and unharmed, but it looks like they were all kidnapped.

Bingus looked over at Crypt, and gasped. "Crypt!! You- Wha- You got wings!!"

Crypt looks over at Bingus, confused. "What? No I do-" Crypt cuts himself off as he looks at his back, only to see a big pair of red and black wings. "Woah..." Crypt is speechless. It's obvious he is confused, as he didn't have those earlier.

It turns out they were all... kinda... hybrids.
Whatever Bingus did to the lab earlier, it turned them all into hybrids.
It was cool.
But scary

Crypt is a dracula parrot, with the red and black wings, and a couple feathers on his back, and a black and red feathered tail.

Tarcias is an ostrich, with the ostrich wings on his back, although he can't fly like Crypt can, and some brown feathers for a tail.
