Insomnia

Tw I don't know anything about insomnia and what is wrong about is from other books I've read.

"Ugh" I said rolling out of bed after yet another night with no sleep. I got up and did everything to get ready.

After taking a shower I go downstairs to the kitchen to grab my meds. That's when I remember the pharmacy was out of them for a week.

My meds are for my insomnia, which is why I haven't gotten sleep in 2 days.

The only effect the lack of sleep I get is that I'm really pissed. But not tired. No never tired. Not till I pass out. Randomly.

The only person who knows is Bobby. Cause well he's my captain and it's on my record.

"Damn, buck you look a mess." Chim said as I walked past him to get some coffee.

"Howard. Please stop talking before my ear drums bleed." I said continuing to walk to the coffee pot.

"Who pissed you off?" Hen said looking up from her book.

I ignored as I poured my self a cup of coffee. I could feel their eyes on me but stayed looking at the wall with my eyes closed.

"Did you get any sleep?" Bobby asked standing next to me putting a hand on my shoulder. "No."

I said finally looking at him. Out of the corner of my eye I could see hen give Chim a 'what that mean' look.

"Hey guys!" Eddie said joyfully walking over to the couch to watch tv with chim. "Hey Eddie." Chimney said blankly.

"You good?" Eddie asked his face scrunching in confusion. God he's so cute.

"Bucks in a mood."

At that Eddie looked over to the kitchen and made eye contact with me. We just stared at each other before he nodded his head In understanding.

Ok maybe Bobby isn't the only one who knows. I may or may not have passed out at Eddie's from the lack of sleep. At least now he understands why I get "moody."

"Hey buck why don't you help me with cooking breakfast." Bobby said moving back over to the counter where he had everything laid out.

"Ok"

We had just gotten back from our 3 call. Today had been a.....slow day.

Everyone was up in the loft either reading, watching tv, or cooking(Bobby and buck).

"Hey buck can you cut the carrots?" Bobby asked not looking up from the stew he was making.

He waited for an answer for a couple of seconds before looking over after there was none. When he looked over he seen buck just standing there, mid grab for the knife, staring at the counter.

"Buck?" Bobby said a bit louder causing hen and
Eddie to look over at them.

"Buck!" Bobby tried again after he didn't get an answer. Again.

After a couple seconds he blinked a little then continued to grab a knife and start cutting carrots.

"Are you ok?" Hen asked after about a minute of silence and everyone just staring at buck.
