Chapter 7: Avoidance

2 weeks later, Kia has been giving took some space for herself after seeing them with a group of females. She has never seen them. She saw the girl go to give Jasiah a hug. She has not returned his calls or talks and when he comes to her door she doesn't answer it for him. Until he gets niaomi to get kia to open the door and she sees Jasiah instead.

Kia: What do you want?

Jasiah: Why have you been ignoring me ma?

Kia: I dont wanna talk to you thats why.

Jasiah: It's been two weeks, I miss you! (tries to kiss her)

Kia: (ducks the kiss) Let's not

Jasiah: Why are you so mad at me for?

Kia: You should know why.

Jasiah: I'm not a mind reader so I don't know.

Kia: Who were those girls?

Jasiah: What girls?

Kia: Don't be stupid.

Jasiah thinks back on before kia stopped talking to him.

Kia: I saw you and her hug.

Jasiah: We didn't hug but she's the past, You my future.

Kia: So what yall done dating now?

Jasiah: She was never my girlfriend.

Kia: You just stopped fucking her?

Jasiah: I cut ties with her, When I first met you because you are who I want forever.

Kia: You better not be lying about shit with her.

Jasiah: I'm not baby, Now come here (grabs her waist and kisses her)

Kia: (smiles) boy.

Jasiah: Damn I missed you sexy.

Kia: I missed you too

Jasiah: You better had (looks at his phone)

Kia: Who got your attention ?

Jasiah: It's Ny and Ky asking if I'm going to party tonight.

Kia: Are you?

Jasiah: Nah I just wanna be here with you.

Kia: Tell them we are going.

Jasiah: Alright bet ma.

As Jasiah leaves he gives Kia a kiss so he can get dressed and come back to get her so they can go to the party together. Kia gets dressed and is ready by the time Jasiah comes back. They leave and arrive at the party. They walk in together holding hands as Niaomi and Kyree walk in behind them.

Jasiah: You look so good ma.

Kia: thank you, you definitely match my fly. (laughs)

Jasiah: (laughs) You know imma always do that sexy.

Neveah sees them laughing at a distance and as she crosses her arms mad she comes up with a plan.

Niaomi: I can't believe them girls but I know Neveah could never let Siah go.

Jasiah: Nah frl, she got issues

Kyree: You know we shut all that down.

Jasiah: Yup we don't play like that over here.

Kia: Better not cause I would hate to bring out my crenshaw.

Jasiah: Wouldn't wanna test yo gangsta.

Niaomi: Don't play with my girl

Kyree: Oh shit not she got a hood side.

They get back to having a good time dancing and vibing. Things get intimate as they slow dance together and look into each other's eyes , enjoying each other as she lays her head down on his chest after their make out session as they sway with each other slowly. As the music changes to an upbeat song, kia turns her back against him as they dance together, swinging their arms, singing and laughing as his hand is on her waist. After the song kia has to use the restroom on her way to it she gets bumped into spilling something to kia.

Kia: Excuse you

Neveah: Your Excuse as long as you stay from my man.

Kia: Your man?? I'm pretty sure he is mine.

Neveah: He does this all the time, you're no different.

Kia: And what's that? What does he do?

Neveah: finds a new girl to talk to and he comes back to me.

Kia: This ring says he ain't going nowhere especially not with you.

Neveah: That doesn't mean anything.

Kia: Has he got you one? Decorate a hotel room for you?

Neveah: He did all that??

Kia: Yup and its still more to come, seem like you was just something to fuck.

Neveah: Yeah right like he didn't try to sleep with you the first time yall met.

Kia: He didn't, He actually took me on so many dates and we actually only did it once, the day he asked me to be his girlfriend.

Neveah: He asked you?? DATES??

Kia: Yea so like I said My man and not yours.

Neveah: I got poof we just did something yesterday.

Kia: He tells me everything and those are fake just like him being your man.

Jasiah and Niaomi get worried as Kia has been going for a minute. They go and look for her, Niaomi grabs Kyree's hand and follows behind her brother to find kia. They find her in a hallway with Neveah and sees kia wiping herself down

Jasiah: Baby you good? (kisses her)

Kia: (Kisses him) Yes, I was letting her know that you are my man

Jasiah: Yea I am (smirks at Kia)

Niaomi: Just had to bother her. Neveah.

Neveah: Mind yours Niaomi

Niaomi: Seem like you can't when it comes to my brother, but it's my business when it comes to my brother and sister right here.

Aaliyah: (as she walks up, trying to grab her away from them) Just come on Neveah.
