Chapter 11: Chances

"It's me, Niaomi," Niaomi says as she knocks on her door. Still in tears, Kia opens the door and runs into Naomi's arms immediately.

Kia: It hurts so bad ny.

Niaomi: I know, it's going to be okay (embracing her tightly)

Kia: Would you lie to me?

Niaomi: NEVER, you're my best friend girl. I love you and I want you to tell me how you feel.

Kia: I'm hurt, and I want to believe him, but I don't know.

Niaomi: I completely understand I would be too. But I think you should at least hear him out and let him explain.

Kia: Fine, I'll hear him out.

Niaomi: I can tell them to come and me and ky can stay to any questions you need.

Kia: I would like that.

The boys ended up coming now that Kia is ready to listen to Jasiah.

Kia: Just wanna start by saying I didn't say we were gonna get back together or anything, I'm just here to hear you out like Ny suggested.

Niaomi: Yall broke up?!

Jasiah: She dumped me but I will never stop fighting for her.

Niaomi: And you shouldn't stop!

Kia: So, Kyree what happened?

Kyree: Everything was cool, we were having a good time, Then I went to the bathroom and Kam was trying to flirt with me. I shut that down and went to go look for Jasiah and our teammate Dj told me that a girl with braids. It hit me that it was probably Neveah since her friend was there. I walked back over to kam to ask her where she was. Their other friend Aaliyah told me where they were and that's when I walked in there and pulled her off of him. His eyes were closed; he was out of it. She was being delusional and trying to justify it like he wanted it. Luckily, I got there in time before it even got any further. That's everything that happened.

Niaomi: (starts shaking) wait until I find those hoes.

Kia: Wow that's a lot to process.

Moving toward Kia, Jasiah takes hold of both her hands and holds them.

Jasiah: (looks in her eyes) I would never intentionally try to hurt you.

Kia: (takes deep breaths) I know I just didn't understand your point of view.

Jasiah: I meant it when I promised everything to you the day, I asked you to be my girlfriend.

Kia: (starts crying) How did I get so lucky?

Jasiah: (wipes kia tears) I ask myself the same thing every day.

Kyree: Umm I think we should head out now.

Niaomi: (laughs) No seriously, looks like everything worked out.

Niaomi and Kyree leave the room to give Kia and Jasiah space.

Jasiah pulls Kia closer to him by grabbing her waist, putting his hands on the side of her face. Pressing his lips to hers from desire and craving. The Morning After

While Kia was still sleeping, Jasiah went to the mall. He went to get her some food, a teddy bear, a necklace with the letters K and J with a heart between them, and some flowers along with a card. When he returned, she was already awake. The bags were hidden behind his back.

Kia: What's that behind your back?

Jasiah: Something for you but close your eyes.

Kia: You are always up to something (closing her eyes)

Jasiah: (wipes her tears) You deserve it all.

Kia: You really didn't have to do all this.

Jasiah: I figured I owed you a real and better apology.

Kia: You don't owe me anything, but thank you (smiles and kisses him)

Jasiah: I just wanted to, but I do got something to ask you.

Kia: And what's that?

Jasiah: Will you have me back?

Kia: I guess...

Jasiah: Damn that's crazy.

Kia: I'm just playing (laughs)

Jasiah: You play to much (laughs)

Kia: I know but of course i'll be your girlfriend again.

Jasiah: I notice you never took your ring off.

Kia: But I never took it off because you won't leaving frl.

Kia: (moans) what are you trying to get into?
