STRONG SEXUAL CONTENT.1991 - Release of Ten
People were lining up to purchase the newest release from Stone and Jeff, previously of Mother Love Bone. Their success in the Andrew Wood fronted band, as well as their early work in Green River had solidified them as local Seattle celebrities, even if that title wasn't their intent. The Temple of the Dog record that came out in memory of Andy, had released in late 1990, however, Stone and Jeff had been working on another project, with Mike McCready and new vocalist Eddie Vedder, as well as drummer Dave Krusen. Krusen had left and now was replaced with Dave Abbruzzese, who would be a permanent fixture in the line up.
It was August, the air was still warm from the fading summer, with the scent of the chilly fall being present. Seattle was overcast but warm, a typical day in the Washington State city.
There were people lining up around the street, ready to buy and listen to the new and upcoming band.
Pearl Jam.
Most of the guys in the band were unsure on the name, however, their previous title of Mookie Blaylock, wasn't approved by the basketball player of the same name, so it had to be changed.
The album was called 'Ten', Mookie Blaylock's number, however, it would later mean so much more than that.
The band had performed some of the songs included on the record in their performances prior to the album's release, and from what was heard, everyone knew they'd be pretty special.
Stone had recruited Mike as the lead guitarist, which had surprised almost everyone including Faye, due to the history they had, however, Stone and Mike had become great friends and the history had become a part of their evolution into who they were now.
"Well....people know who we are now.." Stone smiled, reading an article on a review of 'Ten', as he sat up in bed, next to Date, who was sipping her coffee.
"You've always been known here!" Faye giggled.
"Yeah, I mean somewhere other than Seattle." Stone smirked.
"I'm proud of you babe. You worked so hard for this, and you deserve all the praise." Faye said, taking her left hand and threading her fingers into Stone's.
Stone smiled, he was happy, content, and in love with the woman he always dreamed of being with. The album was for Faye as much as it was for him, and he wanted her to know how much she was in his thoughts while writing it.
"I couldn't have done it without a little Birdy on my shoulder." He winked. "After Andy, I wasn't sure if I could keep going with music, but you have always encouraged me to try. Like suggesting I jam with Mike....I'm fucking glad you did. I've never seen someone with the chops Mike has."
"I told you he was good. I mean the guitar playing..." Faye also winked.
Stone laughed at her joke, looking to her in admiration. His eyes scanned every part of her porcelain skin, her eyes, full of compassion, and her lips, soft and tempting Stone to kiss her.
He leaned over, and placed his left hand on the side of Faye's face as he delicately kissed her.
Faye put her coffee mug on the bedside table as soon as she knew Stone's intentions, and kissed him back passionately.
Faye moved to straddle Stone, who was rock hard underneath her, and the pair continued to kiss passionately, lust taking over.
Faye removed her nightdress, giving Stone the chance to fawn over her perfect hourglass figure, before he took one of her nipples into his mouth and teased it with his tongue and his teeth.
