mia stared at what she thought was a lifeless body in shock. her beautiful brunette, blue eyed girl was now lying on the hard floor in a puddle of her own blood. she felt like she couldn't breath, as if her chest was closing up on her. she couldn't move, she felt like he body was weighed down. she covered her mouth with her trembling hands and kneeled next to charlotte.

she was gasping for air, although it still felt like she wasn't getting any in her lungs. she had to think fast. she grabbed her phone and quickly dialled 999.

"hello, which emergency service do you acquire?"

"i-i don't know! i just need someone here! i've just found my girlfriend in puddle of blood unconscious" she starts to sob, it felt so much real when she was saying it out loud.

"don't worry miss, we will send someone to you right away".

she couldn't be in the room anymore, she stepped out and hung up. maybe when they got here everything would be okay, charlotte could be saved right? that's the only thing mia can think about as she sobs.

she hears the siren of an ambulance. everything feels so blurry since then. the redhead watches as people slowly take charlotte body and carry it into an ambulance. she should be in there with her, but she couldn't bare to see her sweet charlotte in that state.

she sat on the windowsill, her eyes still burning from her dripping mascara. she watches the ambulance hopelessly as she puts her head in her hands. she couldn't believe charlotte would do something like that to herself. mia knew exactly where she needed to go.

mia knocks on the door to the huge mansion. and she can barely keep herself together as the door opens.

siobhan stares at her blankly. the poor woman looked like she had dragged herself there, her eyes were blood red and her face was puffy with makeup running down her face from what she assumed was crying uncontrollably. normally siobhan had quite a cold demeanour and would not show emotion for anyone, but she couldn't let the sobbing redhead in front of her just stand there, so she let her in.

luckily roger wasn't home, siobhan didn't know fuck all where he was, she didn't care much, he was only up to no good. she looks over at mia as they both sit down in the living room together and silence fills the air.

"are you going to tell me what's wrong mia?" she says.

mia takes a few breaths before deciding how to tell her what is wrong without feeling the need to spill her whole guts out, was it a good idea? probably not. but she needed someone to talk to, someone to understand. and who better than the problems fiancée? that's the only reason she came after all.

"i-i really don't know how to say this" she looks down at the floor and fiddles with her fingers.

she decides she can't hold it in anymore.

"your stupid fucking hookup is using charlotte to be his little shitty spy!".

siobhan looks down and brushes her fingers through her hair, the guilt plastered all over her face. it takes the blonde a few seconds to have the courage to speak up.

"i know." she said in her usual cold tone.

mia looked at her in disbelief, she wasn't even that suprised that siobhan knew, it was expected. she didn't know what it was but she almost felt offended, that siobhan knew all this and didn't do anything about it, but at the same time how could she? she was probably just as trapped as charlotte was if not even more. mia wasn't stupid, she spotted the bruises on the blonde that she so desperately tried to hide, she saw how her smile would fade everytime her phone went off, and lastly she knew what a dick roger was. she knew he was hurting her, physically and mentally. so what gave her the right to judge her for knowing?

"charlotte tried to kill herself" she barely whispered, her voice broke as she said what she had said.

siobhan looked at the shattered pair of eyes in front of her. she didnt know what to say, she didn't know how to act.

"did she-"

"no. she made it, i got the call a few hours ago but i haven't been able to bring myself to see her yet... but siobhan i really do need to ask you-"

siobhan sighed. she knew mia wouldn't have came if she didn't have an alternative moment, she wouldn't ever tell anyone but the feeling of only being wanted when it's beneficial can really get to a person sometimes. but she couldn't let it bother her too much, that would be selfish, and even though siobhan knew she wasn't a good person, she knew she was good enough to know that what mia had gone through was horrible and she had to be there for her.

"anything, what is it?" she said compassionately.

mia hesitated before spreaking "could you come see charlotte with me tomorrow, it's quite late now and i want her to get some rest. but if you don't mind coming with me ... i would really just want someone by my side".

siobhan smiled at her warmly as she held mia's hand, she was trying her best to comfort her.
"of course i will come with you, roger shouldn't be coming come until tomorrow so your welcome to sleep here if you like"

"that would be lovely thank you siobhan, i have to say your not as bad as everyone says you are" she responded.

the two women stood up and made their way to the bedroom, mia borrowed a pair of siobhan's silky pink pjs, she had to say siobhan did have taste.

just as they were about to go to sleep, mia went over to siobhan and hugged her tightly.

"thank you for everything" she whispered.

this only made siobhan hug her tighter, they both held eachother and enjoyed the comfort of the silence between them. as they stood there was only one thing siobhan could think of.

is this what real friendship felt like?
