Noah Mason Grey's POV:
You're an absolute bloody wanker, you know that?" Aidan shouts, chucking his pink, fluffy 'My Little Pony' slipper at my face. It lands with a soft thud, right on target.
"Jesus, mate! What's got you all wound up tonight?" I feign a hurt look, hand over my heart like I've just been shot. "Should I call your mum, let her know her darling Aidan's picking on poor Noah?" I grin, dodging another slipper he chucks at me.
"You, you bloke! You've been ditching me for Nick, Cass, or Indira!" He huffs, flopping onto the couch next to me like a sulky toddler. It's so spot-on, it's almost like watching my mum and dad when they're in a mood. "You've gone and left me to rot while you're off playing happy families with them."
"Aw, poor Aidan, left out in the cold." I tease, ruffling his hair like he's five years old. "But listen, don't get your knickers in a twist again—just hear me out, yeah? And for the love of God, keep the slippers to yourself."
He narrows his eyes suspiciously but nods. "Go on, then."
"I've invited Indie for bevvies with us. You know, the whole lot—Cass, Nick, you, and me. Even her mate Eloise is coming along." I pause, watching his reaction.
Aidan raises an eyebrow. "Eloise, as in the girl that always sits next to Indira in Sociology?" His interest peaks at the mention of Eloise's name. I can't help but wonder if the bloke's got a liking for her.
"Yeah, that's the one. Why? You suddenly okay with Indie tagging along now?" I tease, causing him to smack me in the face with a couch pillow, making my glasses fall off.
"Oi, watch it!" I laugh, grabbing my glasses off the floor. "So, you fancy Eloise, then? I had a feeling, you sly git."
He rolls his eyes but can't hide the grin creeping onto his face. "Don't start with that, mate. I just think she's alright, that's all. But if you're bringing Indie, I suppose I can tolerate her, too."
I chuckle, giving him a playful shove. "Tolerate, huh? Well, I'm sure Indie will be thrilled to hear she's merely tolerable."
"Shut up," Aidan mutters, but there's no bite in it. "Just don't be a prat when we're out, yeah? I don't need you scaring off my potential future wife."
"Your what?" I burst out laughing. "Alright, alright, I promise to behave. But you better not get all shy and weird around her, or you'll have me to answer to."
He snorts. "Me, shy? You're having a laugh. Just make sure you're not too busy mooning over Indie to notice when I'm about to charm Eloise's socks off."
"Deal," I grin, "but no more pillow fights, or I'll have to start charging for these therapy sessions."
"Therapy sessions?" He scoffs, "More like babysitting."
