Prophet stood preparting to leave. He let out a long sigh as he began making a mental list of the multiple things he now needed to do. As the list in his head kept growing, something caught his eye. Something matallic & reflecting off the dim glow of the lantern on the table. Taking a step back, Prohpet looked down.

A thick metal band lay wrapped around the girl's wrist. Prophet ever so carefully opened the clasp & pulled it up to eye level. Engraved on the inner rim was a barcode & a series of numbers. Just under the barcode in large black font was the same word on the dogtags. Wolf. It looked as though someone had engraved the word themselves, beings as the font differed greatly from the numbers and barcode.

It was at this moment that Pophet looked down at the girl. Identical tribal pawprints were tattooed on her inner wrist. They were identical to the font on the braclet.

'Hmmm, how peculiar...." Prophet thought to himself just as Mourner reentered the hut.

"Anything?" Prophet asked sliping the braclet into his jackt pocket along with the dog tags.

"Nothing. Deviant couldn't find anything & Destroyer just kept gtting the same story we've already heard. No one knows where she came from." Mourner said sounding slightly disappointed.

"I'm sure she'll have quite a story to tell when she wakes up," Prophet said calmly "best not to be too worried about it at this point."

"What are your orders?" Mourner asked.

"Gather Control & have him post a few guards outside the village borders, just to be safe. And two outside the hut. No one goes in or out without my approval, aside from Mystic." Prophet said as he started to head for the door. "And come get me immediatly if she wakes up."

"Yes, Sir." Mourner replied following Prophet out of the hut.

The cold night air tickled Prophet's cheeks as he pulld out the cigarette he always kept tucked behind his ear. He pulled a match from his pocket and struck it againsty the rugged edge of his boot. As the end was lit, he took a long drag. The smoke felt good as it filled his chest.

"Should we tell the rest of the village?" Mourner asked looking up at the stars.

Prophet thought for a second as he took another drag. "No." He said bluntly, smoking crawling out of his mouth. "Best not to get them involved. Especially if this girl is just passing through. We don't want another...incident...." He practically spat out the last word as he stamped out his cigarette.

Mourner gave his shoulder a reassuring pat. "Dragonfly tricked all of us, dude. She knew how to play the game & she was good at it. How could we know she was working for F.E.A.R?" He said trying to comfort his friend.

Prophet was touched, but the mere thought of it all made his blood boil. "Thanks...I'm going home. I'm tired. Wake me if anything changes." And with that, he turned and headed towards his hut.

"Yes, Sir." Mourner said saddened, watching his friend walk away in pain.

'You just need to let it go, Prophet...or you'll never heal.' Mourner thought to himself.

Prophet sighed as he walked into his hut.

'It's been almost a year. Why cant I just forget about her...?' He thought to himself. Deep down, he knew why. His first love, first partner...first heartache. How could she do that to him? After everything he'd told her? Everything he'd shared with her...

"FUCKING WHORE!!!!" He screamed angrily at the empty hut as he threw his jacket down.

'Ugh....life...' he sighed and lay down on the soft fur blankets of his bed. Maybe all he needed was a good nights' rest.

Quickly his eyes became heavy, his muscles relaxed. Before he could even think about tomorrow, Prophet was out cold.

"The perimeter is secure, my lord. It seems there will be no more attacks this evening." The guard said in a monotone voice.

"Excellent. Leave us!! I wish to retire" F.E.A.R said shooing the guard away. Once the large white doors closed, F.E.A.R smiled to himself. "It seems  the Rebel attacks have declined greatly since your return, my fair Juliet." F.E.A.R turned to see his Queen, in all her glory. Gorgeous white robes, and her long blonde hair sat in ringlets on her shoulders. A wicked smile across her lips.

"Don't you mean Dragonfly?" She said cackling. F.E.A.R grinned maliciously before kissing her lips roughly.

"Soon the Rebels will not have the will to fight. And that...is when we will invade that putrecent village." F.E.A.R spat, the malice practically dripping from his lips.

"Sounds glorious, my love. Then we will rise up and control the masses." Juliet growled. Both of them cackled loudly, their laughter echoing into the night.
