Scene: A bustling city street. Chris Thorndyke, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Tails the Fox are walking towards a donut shop.
Chris: (Excited) Okay, guys! I'm starving. This donut shop is supposed to have the best glazed donuts in the whole town!
Sonic: (Smiling) Sounds good to me, Chris. Just don't eat too fast. you'll get a sugar rush!
Tails: (Chuckles) You're one to talk, Sonic! You practically inhale your chili dogs.
Suddenly, a dark shadow falls over them. They look up to see Dr. Eggman hovering in his Egg Mobile.
Eggman: (Snidely) Well, well, well. If it isn't the little speed demon and his furry sidekicks.
Sonic: (Furrowing his brow) Eggman! What are you up to now?
Eggman: (Cackling) Oh, nothing much, my little blue friend. Just enjoying the sweet symphony of silence!
Chris: (Confused) Silence?
Eggman: (Grinning maliciously) You see, music is a terrible thing! It fills the world with joy and happiness! It inspires creativity and brings people together! And I, Dr. Eggman had no use for such silly things!
Eggman's robotic minions descend from the sky, aiming their weapons at the trio.
Eggman: (Pointing towards the donut shop) This entire city will be filled with my robotic silence-makers. No more music, no more laughter, no more joy! It's just the perfect symphony of… NOTHING!
Eggman laughs maniacally and speeds away in his Egg Mobile. The trio stand stunned, looking at the descending robots.
Sonic: (Frowning) He's serious!
Tails: This is bad! We have to stop him!
Chris: (Determined) We can't let him steal all the music! Let's go, guys! We'll show Eggman that music is unstoppable!
Sonic: Hold on, Chris. This might be a bit… too much for just the three of us. We need backup.
Tails (surprised): Backup? But why?
Sonic: This machine, whatever it is, it's sucking up all the music. We need more than just speed and gadgets. We need… power.
Chris: You’re right… but who can we call?
Sonic: I know, just the friends to ask.
Sonic: (Into phone) Hey Silver, it's Sonic! Yeah, I just wanted to let you know that there's a little… situation going down. Meet me at the donut shop, okay? And bring Blaze if she's free.
Cut to: Silver and Blaze walking into the shop, looking slightly confused.
Silver: (To Blaze) Did he say "donut shop"? I hope he didn't mean we're going to be eating donuts during a crisis.
Blaze: (Smiling) I doubt that's the case, Silver. Sonic's probably just trying to keep things… light and free"
Cut back to: Sonic, still on the phone.
Sonic: (Into phone) Shadow… Rouge… Yeah, yeah, I know it's early, but you've got to trust me on this one. Meet me at the donut shop ASAP!
Cut to: Shadow and Rouge walking in, looking unimpressed.
Shadow: (Grumbling) Another one of Sonic's harebrained schemes.
Rouge: (Smiling) Don't be too hard on him, Shadow. Maybe he's finally learned to appreciate the finer things in life: delicious donuts.
Cut back to: Sonic, still on the phone.
Sonic: (Into phone) Cream, you too! And tell Vector, Charmy, and Espio to meet me there as well. This is important!
Cut to: Cream and the Chaotix. Vector stares skeptically at Cream's phone.
Vector: (Dryly) So, we're meeting Sonic at a donut shop? Now, I've heard of "sugar rush," but this is just…
Charmy: (Excitedly) Donuts! I love donuts!
Espio: (Calmly) Perhaps there's more to this than meets the eye, Vector.
Cut back to: Sonic, finishing his calls.
Sonic: (Sighs) Okay, last call. Knuckles… Amy… Yes, I know you were both sleeping in, but… this is important. Donut shop, pronto!
Cut to: Knuckles and Amy Rose running into the shop, still in their pajamas.
Amy: (Panting) What in the world is going on, Sonic!? I was almost dreaming I was finally winning a race!
Knuckles: (Grumbling) I was having a perfectly good nap…
Cut to: Sonic, beaming at the gathered crowd.
Sonic: Welcome, everyone! I've called you all here because… drumrol. The music has been stolen!
Cut to: Tails and Chris Thorndyke, watching from a corner, jaws dropped.
Tails: (Whispering) Did "Did Sonic just call everyone here with his phone"?
Chris: (Shaking his head) I… I don't think I've ever seen him use a phone before.
