Part 51: The Return of Billie

Y/N POV

I have been stress cleaning all morning, I know Billie is supposed to be back today but I have no idea when. My phone rings on the side so naturally I go to pick it up.

"Hey hot stuff" Emma says

"Hey mama" I say smiling at her cheerful tone

"Harper says she misses you"

"That baby can't talk" I reply bluntly

"She said it with her eyes" Emma says trying to convince me of her lie

"You know what day it is, don't you" I say

"Ok fine yes which is exactly why you need to get out the house for a bit so you don't sit and think" she says. She knows me so well.

I agree and we exchange goodbyes. I load shark into the car and drive over to Grayson and Emma's.

After a short journey the dog and I stroll into the house. "Honeys in homeeee" I sing out

"Shut up the baby is sleeping" Grayson says throwing a pillow at me

"Damn ok" I say catching it "how are you feeling"

"Tired never have kids" Grayson says. He's been an amazing dad and boyfriend to Emma the past weeks trying to help out as much as possible.

"You love her really"

"I really do" he says smiling "anyway todays the day"

"Yep" I say hesitantly

"Well you look good" he says and I look down at myself I do look more muscular than normal "and apart from a few slip up you've come along way"

"Slip ups?"

"Sorry slip ins you slag" he jokes earning a smack

"Where's Emma?" I ask

"Asleep" he says "don't you dare do anything to wake her either"

"Yes boss" I laugh

"So I was thinking that we could take a look at all the songs you've been writing" Grayson says

"I don't know Gray, they're all pretty depressing"

"I know that's exactly why I am here to change it up a bit, Relationship Dairies part 2 is gonna blow peoples minds"

I laugh at his enthusiasm before we begin turning my depressing songs into songs that our fans will actually like.

A few hours later and Emma and Harper appear into the studio.

"My girls" Grayson says with so much adoration on his face. I want this ... with Billie.

"Give me my niece" I say holding my hands out. Emma places harper in my arms and goes to sit on Grayson, while shark bounces up them.

I smile down at the cutest tiny human I've ever seen in my life. She grabs my finger with her little hand and I can't help but smile, she's adorable. I hear the click of a camera and see Harpers parents cheesing at me, Emma has her phone out pointed at me.

"That's adorable" She says looking at the photo

"Give me my daughter" Grayson says tapping Emma to get up. He grabs a guitar and places it next to me and lifts Harper up, I just look at him confused. "We're gonna sing her a song"

I pick up the guitar and begin playing sweet creature as Grayson begins singing to his daughter. As the song progresses, I join in singing also looking at harper.

"I'm so posting this on instagram" Emma says "give me the blue moon login"

Grayson and I laugh at her seriousness but then I grab my phone to give her the details when she gives me the mum look. She posts the video and I offer to cook them an early dinner and feed shark before I go back. I've been tracking Billies flight as I cook this dinner so I know when to go home.
