Rohit woke up with his phone buzzing continuously. He lazily received the call and put the phone over his ear.

"Hello."

"Ek ghante se phone kar raha hun saale. Sota hai ya behosh hota hai tu?"

A smile made its way to Rohit's face.

"Shikhi, kaisa hai?"

Virat, who had just came out of the bathroom, threw his wet towel on Rohit's face and snatched the phone from him.

"Shikhar, mere bhai." He shouted.

"Kya mere bhai? Restuarant aaye aur btaya bhi nahi. Mile bhi nahi."

Virat scratched his head at the complaint.

"Sorry yaar Shikh. But there was no plan as such. And then, we didn't want to disturb you-"

"Disturb? Disturb? This is what you think of me? Kardi na paraye logon wali baat." Shikhar wailed dramatically.

"He doesn't consider you his own, Shikh!" Rohit chimed in.

"I do! You know I do!" Virat retorted. "Don't listen to him."

"It's okay, Virat. I understand. Waise bhi, vo kya kaha hai Arijit Singh ne? Haan, chale jate hai rishte purane, kisi naye ke aajane se." Shikhar said solemnly and Rohit burst out laughing seeing the look of horror passing through his brother's face.

"Shikhi!" Virat whined, once he realised he was being teased. "This is not fair! You always team up with him. You were my friend first but nevermind." He threw the phone at Rohit.

"Aww, is our baby sad?" Rohit teased.

"Save this shit for Ritsy and freshen up." Virat rolled his eyes. "It's already 11."

Rohit talked to Shikhar for a few minutes before heading to the bathroom while Virat talked to Anushka.

"Are you planning to ignore me today as well? Because you seem to be so good at it." Virat looked up to see his sister-in-law standing at the door, her arms crossed and her eyes set in a glare. "Why aren't you two coming for breakfast? Didn't Amulya call you 20 minutes ago?"

"No bhabhi- I mean yes. Yes she called us. But this Rohit- He's taking a shower. Yeah. We were coming."

"Fine." Sakshi turned around to leave and Virat rushed to stop her.

"Bhabhi, I'm sorry for yesterday. I was mad at bhai and I thought it's him calling from your phone." Virat said. "You know I would never ignore you on purpose."

Sakshi stayed mum and Virat pouted pleadingly.

"Please na bhabhi. I'm very very very sorry."
He even joined his hands for extra effect.

"Nautanki." Sakshi rolled her eyes. "Bas kar. I'm not angry. Mahi told me everything already."

"You scared me yaar bhabhi."

"You scared me yesterday too. Now come down quickly for breakfast or lunch whatever you guys wanna call it."

Rohit took ten more minutes to get ready before they both went downstairs chatting and laughing amongst themselves.

"Wow bhabhi, this is so good!" Rohit said, his mouth stuffed with food earning a slap from Yuvi.

"Have some manners re." He chided. "And don't think you're off the hook, both of you."

"Yuvi pa-" Virat laughed nervously.

"Why didn't you take me along? I understand mahi is a bit old for all this but me?"
