Chapter 2-8: Take Our Bows

Back on the deck of the Golden Straw...

The audience are cheering happily for the great performance.

Jack happily says, "YESSS! That was PERFECT! I had no idea it'd go that well! That was SO fun!"

Ruggie laughs with a smile, "Hahaha, we did it! We're done!"

"That was sooo hype! Aw man, what a great time, "FGloyd adds.

"Beauté! An utterly worthy performance!" Rook says.

"For real! And the audience is going wild!" Jack says.

"They just keep cheering! On and on, louder than the waves, éternelle!" Rook says.

"Check it out, they're still clappin'. What an amazing feelin'," Floyd says.

The audience continues clapping and cheering.

"And you got super into it, Jack! You even whipped off your jacket with that sweet move!" Ruggie says.

" Jack realizes it and gets flustered, "Oy... I got caught up in all the excitement and just did it."

"All the more proof of how engaged you were in our performance, no?"

"Yeah... Yeah! The whole thing was a massive success!" Jack says.

"I gotta say, this worked out great, huh? I mean, you guys were HORRENDOUS at playing the flute and trumpet and whatever. This was leagues better than that," Floyd says.

The others respond, "Oof."

Then Rook says, "In any event, we should thank the audience and take our bows! Allons-y."

Back at the Wharf...

The audience are still applauding for the performance.

And the Night Raven Students see the Steering Committee walking over.

Epel says, "Great job, guys! That was so cool!"

"Hey, thanks man! I'm glad to hear it!" Jack says.

Rook asks, "What did you make of our ensemble, Vil?"

"You were splendid. I didn't anticipate such a powerful performance," Vil says with a smile, "Heh heh, perhaps you'll honor us with an encore sometime?"

"Merci beaucoup, Roi du Poison!" Rook says.

Azul then says, "Splendid work, Floyd."

"Thanks a bunch! I had a blast. You gotta join us next time, Azul!" Floyd says with a smile.

But Azul says, "Oh, er, I'm not..."

"Sounds marvelous to me. We're in," Jade says.

Azul cires out, "'We'?! Don't speak for me!"

Kalim happily says, "That was AMAZING! You guys looked awesome, Ruggie!"

"Appreciate it. But man, am I beat!" Ruggie says, feeling a little tied.

And Jamil says, "Hmm, I think I'd like to try the dance you did. Would you be willing to teach me?"

"Ooh, yeah, me too! I wanna do it!" Kalim agrees.

And Ruggie says, "Maybe ask Jack. I don't wanna see any deck brushes anytime soon."

"You guys did a great job!" Briar says.

"Yeah! That was awesome!" Jasper says.

"It was amazing," Sereia says.

Tanzanite and Trinket nod in response.
