Keeping Up With the Star Rail [Makoto Yuki X Honkai Star Rail]

Chapter 1: Jarilo VI

Once the second jump had finished, the train had come to a stop. On cue Makoto who didn't seem unfazed after the jump, Stelle and March who got up following the sudden g-force of the jump that sent her to the floor walked to the window of the train and simply stared at what is a large blue and white covered planet.

Makoto: Amazing....never knew there will be planets resembling to the one from my own universe...looks like this one is covered in snow.

Himeko: After all those millennia... is this what Jarilo -VI has become?

She says approaching the four while staring towards the window to the planet.

March 7th:  Huh? So that snowy planet is our destination this time?

Himeko: Yes... Looks like this trailblazing expedition wont be easy.

Pompom: Spatial readout anomaly! Star rail stability down to 12%! -he's a bit worried - Schedule alteration: Seven- day stopover time extended indefinitely!

Pom-Pom said while waddling towards them.

Stelle/Makoto: Anomaly?

Himeko: The complex locality of this world has been... affected somehow. The star rail has been blocked off by something. Take an ordinary train as an example: Its like the tracks up ahead have suddenly snapped, and the way forward leads straight into a collapsing abyss... The only sensible thing to do would be to brake hard, right?

Pom-Pom: If we try to force our way ahead, there could be a hefty price to pay!

March 7th: This again.....Don't tell me, it's gonna be.....

She says with a disappointment on her face as Welt walks in and joins in on the conversation.

Welt: The results of the preliminary analysis are here, the anomaly stems from a....

Stelle: Stellaron?

Welt: Yes Stelle....just like the one that's been placed into your body.

Makoto: So you're telling me a  Stellaron is capable of creating an anomaly on that planet in a way that obstructs the express from moving forward?

Himeko: Correct Makoto. But there is no need to worry. This isn't the first time our route has been obstructed by a Stellaron. Even if we don't know much about them, ast least we know how to neutralize their influences.

Welt: The only thing we can say for sure is that their arrival causes massive changes to civilizations and ecosystems. They also generate distortions in space such as Fragmentums. There must be an inextricable connection between the Stellaron we're dealing with here, and the Jarilo-VI becoming a frozen planet.

Himeko: Our currently theory is that Stellarons are seeds of disaster planted by a certain Aeon throughout the Universe. We cant continue to trailblaze without the source of the disaster.

Makoto: Then how come you can just find the Aeon directly....that way we can find a way to get rid of it?

Himeko: I'm afraid that's not easy Makoto, finding the Aeon is one thing but getting rid of it is impossible.

Makoto: Huh?

March 7th: Aeons are gods you know.....

Himeko: Aeons preside over the galaxy and each is associated with several paths. Hunt, Destruction, Preservation, Harmony, Erudition and Nihility. But don't worry about it for now. Let's have to deal with small anomalies like this before we have to worry on bigger ones.

The blue haired male nods but the mere mention of gods is nothing new to him given he had already faced against Nyx the very symbol of death and given what Elizabeth said, and still wielding the Universe Arcana, he has the capability of killing these Aeons that wreak havoc across the galaxy by sending these Stellarons.
