Hoseok arrived at the penthouse, his heart pounding with dread and unease. As he stepped inside, he found Jimin desperately trying to wipe away his tears, Hoseok rushed to yoongi's side his worry etched deeply on his face."What happened to Yoongi?" Hoseok demanded, his voice edged with urgency.
"Nothing, he just fell " Jimin replied, his voice hollow and detached. The sheer emptiness in his tone unsettled Hoseok.
Hoseok helped Jimin support Yoongi, who lay collapsed on the floor, and pressed, "Why was Jeon Jungkook here?"
At the mention of Jeon Jungkook, Jimin's face contorted into a bitter smile, but his eyes were vacant, filled with an unbearable despair. Hoseok shivered.
"Where is Teahyung?" Hoseok asked, his voice cracking as he scanned the room."Why are you asking us? Go ask your father, who has so dutifully fulfilled his role as an uncle" Jimin snapped, his voice dripping with venomous resentment.
Hoseok turned to Yoongi, who had lowered his gaze, his face a portrait of guilt and helplessness.Hoseok's frustration and confusion were palpable. "What is he trying to say? What is going on here?" Hoseok's voice rose in anger as he marched toward Teahyung's room.
"Tae....Teahyung?" he called, his voice strained as he found the room empty. His gaze fell on the papers scattered on the desk. As he read them, his face blanched to an ashen hue, shock and horror etched into every feature.
"What is this nonsense?" he roared, confronting Yoongi, who stood in stunned silence, his face flushed with shame.
Yoongi finally spoke, his voice heavy with defeat, "It's true. Jeon Jungkook really married Teahyung."
The revelation was a crushing blow. The papers slipped from Hoseok's trembling hands, falling to the floor."And what did you do?" Hoseok's voice cracked with rage as he grabbed Yoongi by the collar, slapping him across the face. "How could you let this happen?"
"What could I do? Once the marriage was done, how could I stop it? Our appa arranged this marriage to rid himself of the burden of a blind boy" Yoongi spat out angrily, shaking off Hoseok's grip.
"And you... you were supposed to come in the evening. What happened? After everything, you left him here and prioritized your own concerns. What do you expect from me?" Yoongi's anger was a stark contrast to his usually calm demeanor.
Hoseok was stunned by the revelations and the realization of his father's greed. The weight of guilt and betrayal was crushing.Seeing hoseok's silence, Jimin's bitterness flared even more. "Enough of this drama, get out of here now," Jimin commanded, his voice laden with loathing as he gathered the scattered papers and threw them aside. "What are you saying, Jimin? What drama?" Yoongi asked, bewildered.
"Stop this nonsense. I know how many so-called well-wishers we have. One left us to die alone, and the other stands here, playing victim" Jimin's voice was filled with hatred as he glared at Hoseok. "I'm telling you to leave now, or I'll scream until everyone is summoned here to witness our misery. No one is left for us. We will survive as brothers, no matter how dire the situation. But remember, never dare to show your ugly faces here again."
Jimin pointed accusingly at Yoongi and Hoseok, shoving them toward the door. "Are you mad, Jimin? How will you stay here alone?" Yoongi protested, grabbing his hands.
Jimin laughed bitterly, his eyes wild with despair. "Oh, you think it's funny? How will I manage alone? You were with us, but what did you do? You let tahta ll happen. Who should I turn to for help? Who will save my brother?"
As he wept with raged, Jimin pushed Yoongi and Hoseok out of the penthouse. Yoongi struggled to maintain his composure as Jimin became increasingly hysterical, brandishing a fruit knife menacingly.
