Jimin, dressed simply in a brown sweater, and blue jeans, walked toward the Paradise Hotel. His mind was racing as he thought about the meeting he was about to have with his old college friend. He needed a solution, and fast—three million dollars to free Taehyung from the Beast's clutches.

The Kim family property, now mostly under Min's control, wouldn't be accessible to Jimin or Teahyung until they turned 21, and even then, he knew it wouldn't be enough. The betrayal from the Min family meant they were no longer an option for help. Now, alone, he was left to find another way to face the beast and rescue Taehyung.

Jimin knew that the Lee family held significant power, and he had a long-standing friendship with Lee Taemin dating back to their school days. He hoped that Taemin could lend him the money he desperately needed he would pay it back, of course. But time was running out, and the grip around Taehyung was tightening by the day.

Earlier that morning, Jimin had spoken with Taemin, who told him he would be at the Paradise Hotel with his father for a meeting. Taemin had invited Jimin to come by, promising they could discuss what the Lee family might be able to do. Jimin hadn't mentioned Jeon Jungkook's name yet, knowing that once it was brought up, any chance of help would vanish. Taemin was still eager to assist, but Jimin had decided to keep Jungkook's involvement a secret.

Jimin planned to fabricate a story, revealing only part of the situation. He hoped to secure at least a portion of the money and maybe even ask for a job so that lee's can land him a loan for now and then slowly he will pay them the debt back. It was a risky move, but Jimin knew he had no other option. He had to do whatever it took to rescue Taehyung, even if it meant playing a dangerous game of half-truths.

Upon reaching the hotel, Jimin sent a quick message to Taemin, asking for his location. Taemin responded, telling him to come to room number 216. Jimin made his way to the elevator, his heart pounding harder than usual. When he arrived on the 4th floor, the doors slid open with a soft ding, and he stepped out, scanning the hallway for the room numbers.

As he neared room 216, everything seemed to slow down. Just as Jimin was about to knock, the door to room 215 suddenly swung open, revealing Min Ha-jeong accompanied by several business delegates. Ha-jeong was busy shaking hands, offering them smiles and goodbyes, but Jimin's stomach dropped. He knew that man's appearance could only mean trouble.

Panic flared inside Jimin as Ha-jeong was about to turn in his direction. Without thinking, Jimin bolted, gripping the closest door handle and slipping into the nearest room before Ha-jeong could see him.

His breathing was ragged as he closed the door behind him quietly, pressing his back against it for a moment. He knew what kind of disaster it would be if Ha-jeong recognized him.

Jimin's thoughts raced. He had learned the hard way never to trust his so-called Uncle Min. Ha-jeong had betrayed the family once, and Jimin wasn't about to let him ruin this, too. What if he told Jeon Jungkook about Jimin's meeting with the Lee's? Or worse what if he exposed Jungkook's involvement to the Lee's? If that happened, no one would be willing to help him.
