"Sir..."

"Yes, Byeon just wrapping up," he replied, closing the file with a smile, which gave the person in front of him a little hope.

"Sir, there's some bad news," Inspector Byeon Woo-Seok said, putting his mobile into his pocket as he entered and spoke to Deputy Commissioner General of the Korean National Police Agency (KNPA) Min Hoseok.

"What is it?" Hoseok raised an eyebrow in confusion.

"Sir, we need to get to the Lee Do-kyun quickly. Do-kyun lied to us, saying there's no way out of his house except the main door and back door, but in reality..."

"What in reality?" Hoseok, already anxious, stood up and yelled. Inspector Woo-Seok licked his lips nervously.
"Sir, the truth is that there is a third exit in Do-kyun 's bedroom, behind the dressing mirror, which he didn't tell us about. And..." He trailed off, noticing the DCG's growing anger.

"Why are you talking about this in bits and pieces? Huh, Tell me everything clearly! How come you didn't know earlier, and how did you find out now? Speak up!" Hoseok was bewildered and didn't know what to do.

"Sir, now he's not in his room, and the third exit leads to the empty house next door, which he mentioned casually to mislead us," Inspector Woo-Seok said while watching hoseok's face which was turning red.

"Furthermore, his wife claims that the lights suddenly went out in the room, and before she could comprehend anything, they came back on, but Do-kyun wasn't in the room. However, the dressing mirror was moved away from the wall like a door, indicating a way out..." woo-seok explained.

"Sir, it's not our fault. Lee Do-kyun didn't trust us. If he had told us, this would'nt have happened?" Woo-seok tried to defend himself, but Hoseok glared at him.
"Why do you mean he didn't trust us? You Nonsense! It's our fault that we couldn't figure it out despite being inside the house, and he managed to escape," Hoseok banged his hand on the table and roared.

"Now why are you standing here staring at me? Get lost!" he shouted.

"Sir, won't you go there?" Woo-Seok asked hesitantly.
Hoseok felt like smashing everything.

"Should I go there to kill mosquitoes now? We couldn't save a person's life, should we go console his wife, stupid?" he snarled, his eyes red with anger.
"He seems to have lost his mind," muttered the inspector under his breath as he left, observing Hoeok frantic state.

"Ahh, Jeon Jungkook... Your time has come, do your worst," he muttered to himself, falling into his chair and staring at the ceiling, when suddenly his phone rang. He took a deep breath, straightened up, and seeing it was his brother Yoongi, he answered.

"What is it, Yoongi?"

"Hyung, do you know what time is it? It's eleven o'clock, and only an hour left until midnight" Yoongi exclaimed.
