Today was the big day, Audition Day. You had barely gotten any sleep last night, having been up late texting with Jeremy, but that didn't leave you any less energized. You had practiced your monolog, and the part of the song you would be auditioning with, in your free time. You didn't have much time to practice with the material and found yourself practicing that same morning.
"Sweet Jesus of the garden, this group of men come walking down the hall. The top six cardiologists from all over the world on their way to a conference. Highly qualified cardiologist. And they know the importance of cleanliness." you looked at yourself in the mirror in your bedroom. Satisfaction stared you in the eyes, hopefully, you would be ready for this afternoon.
"(Y/N) Hurry up, I need to be at work in 20 minutes." you heard Frollo call from the ground floor. You hated having to drive that man around sometimes. But at least you would always make it to school on time.
"Coming!" you called from your bedroom. Quickly you gathered your belongings for school, snatched up your phone, and headed downstairs. There were a couple of villains scattered around, just like every morning. You first headed to the kitchen to grab your lunchbox. Kronk was there flipping some pancakes.
"Morning (Y/N)." Kronk greeted, flipping one of the pancakes. "Anything I can get you this morning?"
"Not today kronk," you said, grabbing your lunchbox from the counter along with a banana. Normally you would skip breakfast, but you felt as though you would need it today. "Already running late as it is."
"Well break a leg tonight." he smiled at you "You're gonna do great."
"Thanks." you smiled back before skipping your way into the dining room. There some of the villains were gethered around the dining tables, sipping coffee while eating pancakes. Frollo, in his Mr John's disguise, was standing by the door to the mudroom waiting for you.
Hades was the first to notice you "Morning kiddo, ready for the big day?"
"As I'll ever be," you replied, heading for the mudroom door.
Maleficent nodded in your direction "Don't let fear control you, and you'll do just fine."
"Just be sure not to get hit with a sword this time." the Mad Doctor called out as you and Frollo stepped out the door. You both made your way to your car, hoping in the driver's seat before taking off down the road. Once at the school, you pulled into your usual spot and parked the car. The busses had started to arrive but you still had some time to kill.
Once Frollo was out of your car, you put on the soundtrack of the musical and practiced the part of the song you would sing a few more times before school officially started. When it did you headed inside to homeroom where all anyone could talk about, was the upcoming production.
"Morning guys!" you greeted Arpil, Ava, and Emma.
"Morning!" they all greeted back.
"Ready for auditions?" Emma asked with a smile.
"Yep, been practicing all morning." you leaned against one of the many tables in the form. "I'm hoping to get the pilot."
"I really want the animal lady," Ava announced.
Emma looked over at Ava surprised. "So do I."
"Well, I guess you two will have to fight for it." April grinned, "I'm hoping to get the mayor, what I would give to tell people to kiss a cod."
"Ew." Ava and Emma said in unison.
April put her hand up in defense "What, I don't want to kiss it, I just want to make people kiss it."
