Tiffany's POV

The first class was over and as promised Lexie took me to the school's dinning hall for breakfast. I sat on our table stiffed as Lexie went over to the counter to make our orders.

I continued staring at the students with total confusion. They looked so pale and unkempt. Lexie finally came back with some french fries and pizza with pineapple juice to drink with the meal

Just as we were about eating, the school's Queen' bee pranced into the dinning hall with her jobless friend. Yeah right, Tessa and her forever minion Poppie.

"So she still exists in this school? " my eyes dilated with surprise. "I thought that by now she would have become a famous idol or even a model with her elegance lunacy" i rolled my eyes and started digging in. I haven't eaten anything since yesterday.

"Ouch! That was harsh" Lexie giggled and continued eating. As i ate, i couldn't help but feel repulsion. All the students including Tessa and Poppie were so pale and waxen, more like they didn't shower well.

None of the girls were even putting on make-ups, with their lips hard and dried; very unusual for Making Waves Academy girls. Even earlier today in class, the teacher had blood stain on her shirts but everyone failed to notice it except me

Or is it just me? Am i the only one seeing all those stuffs? Is it some kind of illusions?. "Cut that crab Tiffany, of course you're not drunk in such broad daylight" i cursed inwardly.

*
Lexie and i were walking down the hallway and suddenly i was pressed. I excused myself and skittered out. I got into the lady' restroom and eased myself. Oh, that was so close.

As i was about washing my hands, i looked up at the mirror and my eyes dilated in horror to see Tessa covered in blood stains all over her body. A ghost!

I screamed and ran out of the restroom, Lexie saw me running in panic and scuttled to me hereby making me halt. I looked around me shivering in fear. I saw Tessa, she was a ghost.

My legs felt floppy and my heart was pounding in fear

"Tiffany.... Tiffany relax, calm down, what's chasing you? " Lexie asked as she looked around, perhaps looking for what's chasing after me.

My lips trembled as i struggled to talk "I...I... Lexie..... i saw.... a ghost in the restroom" i gibbered in fear and she arched her eyebrows at me

"A ghost? Tiffany are you high? " she furrowed her eyebrows. I know she won't believe me but i did see it. A ghost!

"Lexie i swear on everything i hold dear, i saw Tessa in the lady' restroom. She's a ghost Lexie, Tessa is a....... " i trailed off to hear the voice behind me

"So Tiffany i'm now a ghost to you right? " Tessa asked sternly with her minion Poppie glaring at me. She looked fine and not like a ghost, only her lacked make-up pale face. I shivered, but i did see her in the restroom like a ghost

"But ______"

I couldn't fathom any explanation at all. Lexie quelled the situation "Tessa forgive my friend here. It was all a misunderstanding. Tiffany c'mon let's go" Lexie dragged me along with her.

I looked back to see Tessa and Poppie leering at me, i immediately darted my eyes away.

*
We were already in my room, Lexie helped me to arrange my bed and i laid on it.

"Tiffany you need to get enough rest. It seems like you bonked your head hard that's making you see things. Meanwhile i need to get going. Benji must be waiting for me, i will come back" she assured and i nodded then she left.

~A week Later~

Tiffany's POV

I stood by my window staring at the high mountains. Making Waves Academy was built in an isolated place around mountains because it was a bordering school. It was a cool breezy afternoon with the sun kissing the earth.

It has been one week filled with torture and torments. Everyone i run to never believes me, they think that i'm growing nuts of madness. I can't blame them though, my head just never ceases to play tricks with me.

I sighed and grabbed my mobile phone, for a week now there hasn't been any signal, but i really want to communicate with my family. I took the phone along with me and left the room

I knocked severally on the Principal's door and finally she let me in with that serene voice of hers. I quietly walked into the office and i froze at a spot. She looked at me in anticipation of what i had to say

I gazed around the room dreadfully, Did anyone die here?. Her office was so cold and chilling, the air was stuffy due to the rotten smell i could perceive. The office was twisted with weeds growing on the window frames, gross! The floors was littered with papers

Her office was menacing and daunting at the same time with gleams of shadows. What the hell?

"Miss Tiffany how can i help you? " she dragged me back to reality. I gazed at her dressed sloppily, and her hair unkempt and all tangled.

"I'm... i'm sorry Principal Caroline. I just wanted to ask about something"

"Go ahead i'm listening" she interjected adjusting her dross glasses, perhaps to see me more clearly.

"Ahem" i gulped on my saliva "Principal Caroline, why isn't the network working for a week now? ". I lowered my gaze to grimace due to the smell from the office.

She smiled tenderly " You're not the first to ask this, Lexie did as well. There's just a little issue that we're already looking into. Don't worry, we will handle everything" she assured.

I nodded and quickly skittered out of the office. I took in a deep long breath, i had been ceasing my breath for what seemed like forever in that office. How can a human being comfortably stay there.

Only the thought of spending ten minutes in there made me wanna puke. The office really made me nausea. As i began walking i missed a step and my phone smashed on the floor, i cried inwardly. Anyways, it has no use to me right?

I picked up the broken phone and frowned, as i was about walking again, i noticed the students gazing at me eeriely. Their gaze was cold and creepy, i ignored their staring and started walking. But the more i continued walking, the more students stopped to look at me.

Their gaze suddenly was accompanied by those ghostly whispers again, i began scuttling as i increased my pace and accidentally bumped into Ralph.

"Oh Ralph it's you" i panted in relief

"Who's after you? " he asked looking around. Would he even believe me?

"It's all these stu...... " i trailed off to noticed they were no longer staring at me. What the heck?

"But... but Ralph you have to believe me, they were shooting death gazes at me" i panicked in confusion.

"Seems like you are still affected. I better take you to your room" he suggested. What does he mean by i'm still affected? Still affected by what exactly?

"Ralph just take me to your room instead" i whined and his eyes dilated in surprise

"Huh?" he gaped

"Please.... i don't want to go to my room yet" i pleaded looking around me dreadfully and he nodded.
