Tiffany's POV

Beep...Beep...

The beep sound that was resonance made me regain consciousness. I began to open my eyes slowly, my head hurts a bit but the pain subsides immediately my eyes were wide open.

My parents widened their eyes to see me, they were obviously overjoyed to see I was awake. My head whirled as I tried to sit up.

"Oh my heavens, Tiffany you're awake. Oh God, I thought I was going to lose my baby" mom cried, tears of joy perhaps. Father noticed me struggling so he was quick to help me sit up.

I realized I was in a hospital, the room was relatively small but yes, it was a hospital room. Mom hugged the breath out of me, forcing me to choke.

"So sorry dear" mom wiped her face with the back of her palms, as she chuckled a bit.

"I'm happy you're awake Princess" Father finally said something but I clearly wasn't listening to them.

"Where's....Where's Ralph?" I asked, my eyes looking around in search of something. Mom glanced at dad who shrugged

"I'm sorry sweetie but only you and your friend Lexie survived the explosion in your school" dad said serenely causing my mind to whirl back.

That's exactly what Ralph told me, he's depending on me and Lexie to bring justice for their untimely demise. Tears brimmed in my eyes at the thought of everything.

I've lost the one person I adore so much because of that step father of his, I swear he's going to pay for the sins he has committed. Every single one of it.

The door opened and the doctor walked in, surprise passed through his face before happiness.

"Tiffany?" he called as he took few steps towards me, smiling at my parents. "We're happy to have you back, you were in coma for a month and two days. It's a good thing you're alive".

Lexie's POV

I squinted at the bright light, opening my eyes slowly to behold some nurses treating my leg injury. Mom stood up in shock when she saw I was awake

"Oh my goodness!" mom's eyes dilated as she pulled me into a tight hug.

"W-What happened?" I stuttered while glancing around me.

"Your school exploded and you were in coma for long but it's good you're awake" tears of joy welled in her eyes as she spoke.

I didn't say a word as my eyes darted towards my bruised legs. Mom seemed to have noticed my anxious state while staring at my legs, so she chimes in

"I don't know how it happened, the bruises just appeared out of no where" judging from how she spoke, it seemed to have perturbed her.

I recalled everything including all that Benji narrated to me. That ghost was going to kill me for real, the scratches from her claws appeared physically. I was just grateful for my live.

Tiffany's POV

After having lunch, mom placed back the tea table at its spot and also she disposed the leftovers in the waste bin. Dad suddenly walked in beaming in happiness

"Tiffany, the doctor said you would be discharged tomorrow so we all can finally GO BACK HOME" dad shouted the last few bits in excitement. Mom and I chuckled

"And also I will prepare your favorite" mom promised and for the first time since I woke up, a smile crinkled up in my face

But then a question popped into my head, "Mom where's Lexie?" I had my alacrity mode turned on.

"She was in coma as you, maybe she has woken up" mom answered and I nodded in understanding

"Please if she wakes, don't fail to let me know" I pleaded and mom nodded slightly

Noble footsteps were heard and two police officers walked in, not without dad's permission. They made their way towards me and sat at the bench there.

"Happy to have you back Miss Tiffany" the ebony black officer smiled and I did the same.

"We're here to ask some few questions if you don't mind" the fair officer requested but mom waved her head sideways pejoratively

"I don't think so officer, you see my daughter just recovered from coma. I don't think she's quite stable to....." mom stopped at her words when I answered

"Mom it's fine. I got this" I assured with a slight smile. She took a heave of breath before approving

"You once attended Making Waves Academy High School right?" the fair officer asked and I looked at my parents before nodding in agreement

"Where were you when the explosion occured?" the ebony black officer asked. I gave mom and dad another glance as I gulped on my saliva before answering them

"I was up at the mountains" I spoke

"Doing what please?" the ebony black officer asked again and I swallowed hard. They're going to think I'm silly if I tell them what I went up there to do.

"Uhmm, I...I...we went for a workout that faithful day and I lost a belonging there, so I had to go back to get it" I gibbered. I had no other thing to say except for that

"So do you know anything about the leaking fuel and gas?" the fair officer asked and I furrowed my eyebrows

"What leaking fuel and gas?" confusion was plastered on my face as I asked.
