Tiffany's POV

"Well according to our investigations, we discovered that a leaking gas caused the explosion of the school" the ebony black officer spoke and documented something on his jotter.

"No that's not true" I blurted forcing all eyes to be on me. "There was a bomb in my school, it was a bomb".

The tension grew thick in the air as mom and the officers gaped, dad looked quite quizzical. Ralph was the one wearing the bomb, it wasn't any leaking fuel whatsoever

"Young lady do you have evidence?" the fair officer asked sternly causing me to swallow hard. My hands trembled knowing fully well I had no evidence

"I...I don't for now but I'm certain I will soon" I persuaded while giving mom a pleading look for them to believe me. But they all looked sober, never gonna believe me

"Miss Tiffany I suggest you leave the investigation to us. Thanks for your time" with that, they left. I still wasn't taking that rubbish for a story.

Ralph's stepfather was behind the explosion, he made Ralph wear a bomb to school but they obviously won't believe me.

"Sweetie...." mom called serenely from behind as she holds my hand.

"But mom I know what I'm saying! There was a bomb at my school" I gently shook my hands away and she just exhaled

"Princess, you heard what they said. It's better you let them do their job" Father suggested calmly. A sudden pang of annoyance struck me.

Why can't they believe me? How on earth would I make up lies about such thing?

******
I was seated in my bed, looking out the window. It was good to be back home but I can't help but let anxiety take over me.

I looked down at my RATI book, tracing my fingers on it's letters and locking away my soul into thoughts. A sound on my door made me shake off my thoughts

"Come in" I said coldly and mom walked in with a smile on her face

"Your friend's here" she smiled and I sprang on my feet in excitement. Mom sidestepped for Lexie to walk in.

I swiftly ran to her in a tight hug, wrapping my hands around her neck as she choked.

"I'm so sorry, I'm just happy you're fine" I chuckled a bit

"Same here" she smiled warmly

"I will leave you two now" mom spoke and exited herself. Lexie and I sat down on my bed as we shared our moments in the dead world. She remembers most things too, Benji told her.

Her gazed were casted on the RATI book neatly laying on my bed, "Is this the one you wrote to Ralph?" she enquired

"No, it's his letters. I'm certain he's with mine now" I muttered, my voice fading away

"RA for Ralph and TI for Tiffany. You two were the best together. Death is sure very unfair" she said above a whisper, her face growing rueful.

We both went into a dysphoria which was immediately cut short when the book flipped open by itself and something new was written

Lexie and I exchanged glances with my eyes dilating. It was written "My room. My wardrobe. My phone. The evidence"

Lexie's eyebrows arched, "Is Ralph trying to tell us something?"

I didn't reply her as my eyes were fixed on the book and then I understood it. A clue!

"He means that the evidence we need to prove that his stepfather was responsible for the explosion is in his room, in his wardrobe and on his phone" I pondered alongside with Lexie
