Chapp - a stone and wood mixture, where the stone and wood are melted to a liquid in a complicated process called "foliacation", then mixed with each other. Usually has a brownish-grey colour. Is used commonly in AlpineWing architecture, though examples of this are also seen in the Canyon and Ridge kingdoms. It is expensive and takes a long time to make but is wanted due to its fire proofness. "The wall was made of chapp"

Chestmane - the fur that grows around the base of the neck and chest of a male AlpineWing. Starts to appear around their fifteen birthday, but isn't fully developed until their twentieth. "His chestmane was dyed rainbow by the paints"

Jurriv - an orange/yellow non-alcoholic drink invented by AlpineWings. "They each ordered a glass of jurriv"

King's Soul - an expression used in the Alpine Kingdom by those that do not worship the Monarch. Can change to be Queen's Soul, depending on who has the throne. Has the same meaning as "Three Moons" or "Oh My God/Oh My Goodness/Oh My Gosh". "'King's Soul,' he swore as he dropped the vase"

Novv - a RidgeWing weapon - a staff with three metal points on each end, is capable of splitting into two smaller versions called "nuur". "He always carried a novv wherever he went"

Nurr - the two smaller versions of a novv. "She struck the wall with her nurr"

Rigmere - an amber-coloured alcoholic drink invented by MoorWings. It is said to be spicy and bitter but very addictive. Bubbles and froths when sugar is added to it. Has a non-alcoholic version called "roggur". "They heartily drank their rigmere"

Roggur - a non-alcoholic version of rigmere. A common drink for younger dragons. "He drank his roggur then continued with his homework"

Suns - an expression used in the MoorWing Kingdom. Has the same meaning as "Three Moons" or "Oh My God/Oh My Goodness/Oh My Gosh". "'Suns!' she cursed as she dropped the vase" Also: Oh, Suns. "'Oh, Suns!' she cursed as she dropped the vase"

Wingshell - the hard cover that goes over a MoorWing's wings to protect them. "Her wingshell was cracked from the blow"

Yull - the thick forests surrounding the ApineWing's palace. "She got lost in the Yull but was eventually found"
