(Chan's POV)
"Chan what's so interesting on your phone that's distracting you from work?" Jisung asks, I'm supposed to be working on our new album but this number keeps bothering me.
"It's nothing important don't worry."
"Well it seems to be, you've been texting the same person for like half an hour." Changbin pipes in.
I know I should probably tell them about the number neighbour thing like I said I would, but I just know it'll cause chaos at some point.
I know they'd love it, to be friends with other people than the people we already know. I'm just worried, what if I now allow us to be friends and then eventually we get so close I tell this guy I'm apart of 3RACHA, what happens then? He could share our chats with the world, he could freak out or get upset about the fact I lied and so much more.
It just doesn't seem worth it.
But something makes me wanna get to know this guy more, telling me to risk all those 'what ifs'.
A hand waving in front of my face gets me out of my trance.
"Hellooo? Earth to Channie??" Jisung says with a slightly raised voice.
"Uhm hi yes sorry my bad."
"Dude are you sure it's nothing? You stared at us for a good 10 minutes." Ugh.
"Uhm.."
"I guess I've been texting this person?"
I can see Jisung's face lighting up, ready to shout something idiotic or get all excited.
"But! I don't know if I'll keep talking to him. I don't know how safe it'll be."
"But channn!" Oh no I made him whine..
"Yeah Channn, what's the worst that could happen?"
"Well, a lot actually. He could be a total prick if he ever finds out I'm from 3RACHA, he could try to sabotage us or whatsoever.."
Saying it the last part sounds a bit.. dramatic.
But you never know!!
"Come one hyung, I'm sure the guy is super sweet and all these scenarios are if you tell him you're from 3RACHA. Just don't tell him."
In some way Changbin has a good point, but..
"I don't wanna lie to him either, if we're gonna be friends I should be honest."
"I guess that's fair.. But this is a huge thing for your safety. I'm sure he'd understand if you explained to him why you're keeping that a secret!" Also a good point but it'd still feel wrong to text this guy who's telling me everything about him and I have to minimise what I say because he could get suspicious.
"I don't know.. It's just so complicated."
"Only because you make it complicated! Just keep texting the guy, if it comes up you tell him who you are and if he then decides to be a dick about it just block him."
"I guess.."
"Ha Sung you outplayed him, he has no more arguments."
"Could we.. meet him?" Jisung asks after a while.
"Oo yeah Chan can we?"
"What if you get attached..?"
"Then that's more reason for you to keep talking to the guy!"
I really don't think this is a good idea, however..
"Fine. But no word about 3Racha!"
"Yessir." They both say in unison.
"Now can we continue working?"
"Fineeee."
"But you better add us to a groupchat with him after work!"
"Yeah yeah.."
