sitting in front of the computer , coffee on the table , leaning against the chair , Aisy was focused on doing her work. when suddenly , her phone rings. she glances at the front screen , deciding whether or not to answer after seeing the user. finally , she reluctantly takes the phone in a lazy manner and answers it.

she sighs. "ha."

"peace be upon you , Aisy !! I've got something to tell you." it's Kayla who's calling her.

"peace be upon you too , what is it ?" she lazily asked.

"so my salary is due today plus I'll get a bonus and I'm thinking of going on a dinner date with you. what do you say ?" she excitedly asked her , hoping that she would agree.

"huh ? dinner date ? I don't know , I'm not sure."

"awhh come on , you always said that. do you want to or not ? it's my treat this time."

"uh ... I don't know , I'm afraid that my schedule might change any time." she said , giving excuses. it's not that she doesn't want to , she'd rather eat at home than go out.

"hmm , is that so ? that means I won't get the chance to give it to you then." Kayla purposely said that.

"give what ? what are you talking about ?"

"ahh ? nothing." Aisy can feel the smile Kayla has on her face when she says that. they always tease each other like this , it's like their routine.

"you better hurry up and tell me otherwise I'll hang up on you." Aisy didn't wanna waste time in idle talking , she doesn't like it.

"hmmm , you always said that. fine , it's a gift from someone but I can't tell you who."

"a gift ? how come I get a gift ? I don't even know anybody at your place."

"that's why I can't tell you , the person who gives it to me says that I can't tell you who it is , unless you yourself receive it from me."

"sigh , fine I'll go with you to the dinner date. send me your location later."

"yeay , finally. don't worry , I'll pick you up instead."

"hm." she nodded her head.

7:45 pm

Aisy is already standing by in front of the gate , waiting for Kayla. Kayla pulled over and Aisy got in.

"so where is the gift ?" Aisy went straight to the point.

"gosh , how impatient aren't you ? I'll give it to you after we arrive."

"sigh , now I have to wait ..." she sighs as she rest her arm by the window , staring outside.

they arrive at the restaurant and take a seat together.

"order first , we will talk about it after this."

they order their food and finally , it's time to know about this mysterious gift.

"so tell me , who sent the gift ?" Aisy looks like she is about to go on a war since Kayla has been holding onto the secret for too long now.

Kayla takes out the gift first and puts it on the table. she pushes it to her.

"actually I also don't know who it is , but I'm sure it's someone you know."

Aisy raised eyebrows at Kayla words but still takes the gift. she opened it in front of her , revealing a very simple but elegant necklace. next to it , there's a card of her name , written in calligraphy.

Aisy smiles slightly , and immediately knows who it is. she takes the card and reads it. then looks at her friend , Kayla.

"I know who it is , how come you didn't realise it ? I thought you were the sharpest one here."

"hah ? why would I know who it is ? who else sent you a gift beside rin- oh I see. so it was him , how stupid of me. I must be scared of the guy who delivers the gift. he wears all black if I were to remember it correctly."

Aisy just stares at the gift , smiling from ear to ear tho she doesn't really show it. Rin Itoshi is her husband of two years. tho , he's always far away from her ( he's a football player and he stays in France ) , he would occasionally send gifts to her every time he found something that suits her. how sweet of him.

but why would he go through all the trouble just to send her the gift ? he could've done it the usual way so why the trouble ? just when Aisy was concentrated in her own thought , Kayla finally smiles at the person behind Aisy and touch her hands.

she raised her eyebrows at her and signal her. "look who's here."

Aisy immediately turns in curiosity at Kayla's word. her eyes light up slightly , seeing her long distance husband standing in front of her.

"hi." he said to her.

"oh hey , when did you come back ?" Aisy is a bit surprised but used to it.

"well then , I'll leave you guys here. bye." Kayla didn't want to bother the couples reunion so she thought she better stay away from them.

"oh thanks for planning this meet up , Kayla. I appreciate it so much." Rin said to Kayla before she go.

"no problem , enjoy your dinner then. goodbye." Kayla left the restaurant.

"whatttt , I didn't know that Aisy's husband was so sweet like that." Riana said , didn't believe it at first.

"well that's just how their relationship are. mine just get better." Kayla smiles proudly.

Riana glance side way at her "tch , you just wanna show off , didn't you ?"

Kayla just chuckles.

while they are talking , Aisy finally back from the toilet , sitting back at the table. Riana turns her seat towards her.

"so that's how it is ... didn't expect it Aisy."

"what ? what are you talking about ?" she raised her eyebrows.

Riana just smiles "nothing , just a thought."

Aisy just shrugs and continues eating the dessert. she didn't bother to pursue the topic.

so this is the story of Aisy and her husband. I tried my best to relay how the story was in my imagination but my grammar isn't that great. sorry for the mistake if there's any. I'll write more when I have more ideas. that's it for now , goodbye. tschüss♡︎
