The final semester of college had arrived, and with it, a whirlwind of emotions. It was hard to believe that in just a few short months, Alex and I would be stepping into the real world, leaving behind the safety and comfort of the life we had built together during our college years. The thought was both thrilling and terrifying.

After our New Year's celebration, Alex and I had spent the last few days in a blissful state of togetherness. We had been inseparable, savoring every moment before school reopened and life became busy again. The days were filled with quiet intimacy—cuddling on the couch as we watched our favorite movies, long, steamy showers together, and stolen kisses that left my heart racing.

On the morning before our final semester officially began, we were once again wrapped up in each other's warmth. The soft light of the early morning filtered through the curtains, casting a golden glow over the room. I lay nestled in Alex's arms, my head resting on his chest as I listened to the steady rhythm of his heartbeat.

"You know," I murmured, tracing lazy circles on his skin, "I could get used to this. Just the two of us, no distractions, no responsibilities."

Alex chuckled, his hand moving to stroke my hair.

"I could too, love. But we both know life doesn't work that way. Soon enough, we'll be back to the grind. But that doesn't mean we can't make time for moments like this."

I smiled, feeling a sense of peace wash over me.

"You're right. We'll just have to make the most of it."

Our morning was spent indulging in more intimate moments—long, lingering kisses, soft whispers, and the comforting closeness that only comes from truly knowing someone. Every touch, every caress, was a reminder of the love we shared, a love that had grown stronger with each passing day.

As the hours passed, we eventually dragged ourselves out of bed and into the shower. The hot water cascaded over us, and we took our time, savoring the feel of each other's bodies. There was something undeniably comforting about the familiarity of it all, the way we fit together so perfectly.

Later, as we curled up on the couch to watch a movie, I couldn't help but feel a pang of sadness. The final semester meant the end of an era, the closing of a chapter that had defined so much of our lives. But it also meant the beginning of something new, something exciting, and I knew that as long as I had Alex by my side, I was ready for whatever came next.

When school finally reopened, reality hit with full force. The campus was abuzz with the energy of students returning from the holiday break, everyone eager to dive into their studies and make the most of their last few months. But amid the excitement, there was also an undercurrent of nostalgia—a shared understanding that this was the last time we would experience all of this together.

As I walked through the halls of the school, I couldn't help but feel a sense of bittersweetness. The memories of the past few years flooded my mind—meeting Alex for the first time, the rivalry that had eventually blossomed into a deep and enduring love, the countless moments of joy, laughter, and even the challenges we had faced together.

My thoughts were interrupted when I ran into Sarah and Emily outside one of our classes. The two of them were grinning like Cheshire cats, and I immediately knew they were up to something.

"Emma!" Sarah called out, her voice teasing, "nice to see you back on campus. You look... well-rested."

I raised an eyebrow, already sensing where this was going.

"What's that supposed to mean?"

Emily leaned in closer, her grin widening.

"Oh, you know. You just seem very... relaxed. And, um, is that a new accessory you're wearing?"
