"Okay, that's enough," said Sunghoon, in a firm tone

"Okay, that's enough," said Sunghoon, in a firm tone. I suppose that was his limit. I chuckled awkwardly as Jay backed away, clearly just as embarrassed, but not quite ashamed. Before I knew what was going on, I was pulled into his lap like a cat from its basket. I made myself comfortable before urging him to continue.

"Right," Sunghoon put his phone down. "Next one goes to..."

Sunghoon spun the bottle around, and it landed on himself.
"Dare," he mumbled, a bit astonished. "Well?"
Sunghoon looked around, waiting for an answer.

After a much more awkward round 2 of Truth or Dare, it was around 1 a.m. and we really needed rest.

"God... these schedules drive me crazy," I heard Heeseung mumbling. He was right; the schedules were getting harder and more tedious. The multiple overseas trips and tours were taking a serious toll on our mental and physical health, but alas, we had no choice.

"Hey, can we talk?" Jay spawned behind me, his voice slightly hushed.
"Yeah? What's up?"

Jay seemed pretty awkward, which was proven further as he waited for everyone to clear the room.
"I er... just wanted to say that I'm sorry for you know... going to far with the dare."

I snorted.
"Seriously? I actually sort of liked the change in behaviour. Engene would be oh so envious of me."

Jay's awkward demeanor broke slightly, a smile alighting his face at my attempt to lighten the mood.
"Yeah. Yeah that's good. I just don't want you thinking it you know... meant anything, is all."

I nodded.
"Hey. Don't worry. Besides, if it did you'd probably be sworn enemies with Sunghoon," I nudged him. "Cheer up. It was all for good fun."

Jay nodded, rubbing the area where I nudged him.
"Yeah. Good night," he mumbled, smiling softly.

Once we exchanged a few more words, both of us returned to our rooms in the dorm. When I went to my room, I already found Sunghoon there, busy cleaning up his bedside table.

"What was that about?" he didn't turn to face me, but he clearly knew what was going on.

"Oh, Jay? He just wanted to make sure I didn't take his dare the wrong way," *I reached out and snatched away the tissue from Sunghoon's hand.

"You're over cleaning. You're stressed. What's up?"

Over the past couple of months, I'd grown to notice every single change in behaviour of Sunghoon, and I assumed he did the same since he could almost see right through me.

"Nothing," he shrugged, turning his attention to me. He turned around to face me, leaning against the edge of the table. I raised an eyebrow.

"I don't buy that, mister," I folded my arms, keeping my eyes on his until he decided to spill what was on his mind.

"What?" he said, trying to hold back his laughter. I stood still.
Eventually, he gave up.

"Okay, I was jealous, I'll admit," he rolled his eyes. "And I'm trying hard to not give him silent treatment."
"Sunghoon!" I gasped. "It was a game. Don't be such a kid. You're above all that."

Sunghoon whined, getting off the table and pacing around the room.
"But it's not fair, he can't just flirt with you like that without my permission!"

"Then you should've stopped him instead of staring at your phone," I pointed out.
"I didn't expect him to go that close to you?!"
"Well he didn't do anything so let it slide!"

"Why are you on his side? Do you like him or something?" he raised an eyebrow. I scoffed.
"You clearly need sleep, your brain's malfunctioning," I headed for the bathroom.

"Stop avoiding the question," he grabbed my wrist and didn't let me go. I gave him a look. He gave me one back.
"I don't," I affirmed. "I genuinely do not. Do not worry Sunghoon."

"Do you love me?" he asked, catching me off guard. I stuttered.
"Er-"
"I asked you, do you love me?"

I cleared my throat.
"Yes, yes I do."

"Then say it," he said, clearly enjoying himself. I chuckled.
"Er... I need to pee, bye!" I quickly slipped my wrist away, slamming the bathroom door in Sunghoon's face. I leaned against the door, panting.

"Straightforward much?" I muttered to myself.
"Your whispers aren't soft," I heard him from the other side of the door, chuckling as I heard his footsteps retreating, probably headed to bed. Sighing in relief, I turned on the water, so I could take a nice warm bath and get my mind off things.
