"Wake up, you two!" Jungwon rapped at the door, a bit rushed

"Wake up, you two!" Jungwon rapped at the door, a bit rushed.

"Jungwon, it's 4 in the morning," I groaned, opening the door. He was all dressed and ready, while Jay was busy waking the others.
"Well clearly the company does not seem to care about that... We've got recording on our schedule today."

My jaw dropped.
"At 4 am?"
"At 4 am," Jungwon sighed.
"Where's Sunghoon?" he asked peeking into the room.

"He's right- oh. Where is he?" I mumbled, confused.
"Well wherever he is, tell him the news and make sure he's ready on time," Jungwon smiled before leaving me to it.

"Sunghoon?" I asked, looking around the room. He wasn't there in the balcony.
"Is he in the bathroom?" I mumbled, putting my ear to the door; and not a moment too soon, the bathroom door opened. I jumped taking a step back.

"Spying on me?" Sunghoon very clearly just came back from the shower, wearing only his trousers and a towel around his neck. I gulped.
"I was looking for you, if you couldn't already hear me," I tried not to stare.

"Well, now that you've found me, you should go get ready. Even though it's 4 am," he said, drying his hair with the towel.
"Yeah okay- stop it!" I chuckled as he brushed off all the water in his hair on me.
"Cut it out!" I whined, desperately trying to escape his wet hair but to no effort as he pulled me into his arms.

"So I don't get a good morning, and instead, telling me to get out? You wound me," he smiled, his eyes all over my face.
"You look tired," I mumbled.
"It's 4 a.m," he chuckled. "Of course I'd be tired."

"You look tired," I repeated myself. "In a way that's not only caused by waking up at 4 a.m., Sunghoon. Are they overworking you?"
I raised an eyebrow. Sunghoon leaned over and pressed his lips to mine.

"Go get washed up, you'll get late," he said, ruffling my hair and letting go of me, walking to the closet. I grabbed him by the arm.

"You've been ignoring me a lot lately. Speak up," I sat him down on the bed, tossing him a shirt. "Now."

Sunghoon shrugged.
"There's nothing to talk about."

I sighed, sitting down beside him.
"Don't lie to me. Something's up, and either you're too embarrassed to say it, or you just can't seem to want to open up to me."

Sunghoon bit his lip.
"Look, I really am okay-"

"Sorry to disrupt your pensive moment," Heeseung knocked, opening the door. "But we're running late. Yeona, hurry up and get ready. Please."

I nodded, mumbling a small "yes" as I grabbed my towel and headed for the bathroom. I shot Sunghoon a look before locking the door.
As I squeezed out the toothpaste on my brush, I couldn't help but worry. Not only for Sunghoon, but for everyone. Whenever we came back, we were more tired than gerbils running on a wheel, and with barely a few hours of sleep we were up and on for work again. Our eyes were red every time we were woken up at ungodly hours and rushed to the studio. To top it off, continuous travel and world tours affected our already degraded sleep schedule, and to put it simply we were reaching our limits.

"Hey," Sunghoon knocked on the bathroom door. "Everything okay?"
I didn't respond. I would usually reply with a yes, but... was everything really okay?

"Yeona? We're getting late," his voice lowered. "I know you're tired, you can sleep in the car on the way. C'mon."
"Yeah, yeah I'm fine," I replied, muffled by the toothbrush in my mouth. "Coming."

Once I came out of the bathroom, I found Sunghoon busy fixing his hair.
"You're right," he said, abruptly.

"Huh?" I snapped out of my dazed state. "What?"
"I'm not okay. But neither are you."

I bit my lip.
"Thanks for letting me know," I grabbed my glasses, putting them on my face. Just then, I felt Sunghoon's arms wrap around me from behind. I immediately turned around, burying my face in his shirt, hugging him tight.

"I love you so much," he whispered, his chin on my head. Trying not to cry, I mumbled a small I love you more, wishing I could stay like that forever.
