Post-Cruise Day 2: Comfortable and Contented

"So, where have you been all my life?" Lett, now Cherryl, asked. They live together in a two-storey apartment in the Philippines. As they stirred their coffee in their kitchen, she laid on Ethan's shoulder. "You're handsome. You're still the same guy I saw who got famous on social media."

"I talked to the guy who cursed me," he answered. "I hated every minute of him yapping."

"How did you manage to get back to your original form?"

"It was a long story," he answered. "I was cursed because I cheated on someone. He never knew that my ex cheated on me first. That person blamed me; not only was I being incompetent with my feelings, but dating an ordinary woman like you."

"I'm confused. How did you get back so fast?"

"The curse died," he wrapped his arm around her. "Because the one who did the curse died."

"Did I hear 'ordinary woman'?" She asked, sipping her coffee.

"You may appear like an ordinary woman in their eyes, but you are always special to me, babe."

"I appreciate it," she smiled. "You're a wonderful person."

"Who do you love more, babe? Natalia or me?" He joked. She was laughing at him.

"At least you have returned." She embraced, and he returned the hug.  "I don't care who you are. The most important is you are here at my side."

"I miss you so much, Cherryl." He plucked a string of her hair sideways.

"Aren't you aware that I missed you also while you were away from me?" She asked and pecked him. "I guess I loved you too much, didn't I?"

He returned the peck. "Come on, isn't that too obvious?"

"What about the social media?" She asked.

When he heard about social media, he pulled out his ring and wore it to her left ring finger, pretending that he proposed to her. "Don't snitch. I'll marry you soon. Now zip your mouth and let me do the honour of breaking things off my silence."

With enthusiasm, he edited his username back to his original name, changing his profile, but this time, he took it with Cherryl, wrapping his arms around her. He took a picture of them holding hands. The ring was the massive factor in why he posted it. It was to lure people that they got engaged.

"Let's see how people got fooled," he laughed as he posted it on social media while noticing that she was about to remove the ring from her finger. "But babe, before you remove it, keep it. It is my gift for your unwavering love to me."

"I can?" She asked, asking for his confirmation.

"Of course," he kissed her forehead. "I'm contented with you."

That post broke the news outlets as he and his relationship with Cherryl were the headlines.
