Being suspended really wasn't on her plans for jujutsu tech, but Naruko Reiko wasn't complaining considering it would give her a headstart on her research and journey to find the truth about herself. So now she finds herself in the middle of her dorm, packing most if not all her things.
The sour part of being suspended was that you could not stay in the dorms, she didn't know if that was really the rules or the higher-ups just wanted to make her life that much harder but she couldn't complain, cause again, she would have been moved out either way to pursue her research.
"Why do I have to help you pack when I don't agree with your plans" came the equally sour complaints of her sweet obsessed classmate, Gojo Satoru. He was crouched down in front of her bookshelf, taking out the books and putting it gently in one of the boxes they had gotten from a supermarket (which explained why the boxes smelled like fruits).
Beside him was their other classmate, Geto Suguru, who was taking the books and ornaments off the higher shelves. "Satoru be nice before I kick you." He sighed with a not so impressed look.
"I'm just saying! It's stupid of you to think about researching sports teams and how often they make curses that important, cause it's all gonna be the same in the end!" Satoru turned to her with a sort of snark as he waved her book as he made his point. "There's not much of a difference, sports teams, academic teams, if they're all non sorcerers all of them are gonna be popping curses left and right cause they don't know how to manage their emotions!"
She could understand his point but she shot him an annoyed look "that's on paper! the research that the higher-ups know I'll be doing, but that is not my real research you dumbass!" she yelled throwing a pillow at the boy who easily caught it without even using his special Infinity.
"My real research is that I'm going to research the difference between curses and ghosts and the in between, to do so I need to explore more areas out of the usual places I go to, to increase my chances of running into them."
Their other classmate, the last in their year, Shoko turned to her and asked (with a lollipop in between her teeth) "Is there really a difference? I think you're the only one who notices these sorts of things."
"I guess. . it's probably has something to do with how I'm more connected to things on a spiritual level. That and it could be connected to why the higher-ups and other people want me dead." Reiko frowned as she stared at the clothes she had been folding neatly. Unlike her classmates who entered Jujutsu Tech willfully of their own choice, through normal enrollment methods, she on the other hand did not.
She was originally captured, and brought to Jujutsu Tech to be safely executed, and that was at the young age of 14 turning 15-ish. And she herself didn't know why, originally she thought it was because she could see curses, but that was apparently normal for them?? they never explained why she was supposed to be executed back then, so she also planned to look into it when she went to Miyagi.
However luckily with the help of her now Principal and Guardian, Yaga Masamichi, and her classmate Gojo Satoru who was technically the head of a powerful clan and one of the strongest, her execution was delayed, and she began her life as a student at the school, since she really didn't have a choice unless she wanted to die.
And she would like to point out her execution was delayed until further notice, not cancelled. So yeah, bummer, right?
Anyways, since becoming a student at Jujutsu tech, she managed to control her powers and go on missions, during the latter she began to notice differences between the curses she fought, some felt more humane, like ghosts or souls of humans rather pure curses, and after asking her friends it seems she was more perceptive than them in those terms, even against the six eyes that Satoru had, he couldn't quite see what she saw, which spoke volumes for her.
