You glance at Reno, his eyes remaining ahead seemingly in thought while the two of you walked ahead beside one another
You tilt your head wondering what he was pondering over, before speaking your mind
"What are you thinking so hard about ?" You return your gaze ahead, taking sight of the division building now in view
Reno remained silent before exhaling deeply
"There's ... there's this person I like." Your eyes widen, you never broke your neck so fast
"You like someone ?"
"I do."
"Must be Kafka." You voiced in your mind letting out a little snicker
"Why are you thinking so hard about them ?" You questioned immediately returning to your collected demeanor
You noticed Reno shoulders slightly tense up to your question before answering
"Cause she's loved by everyone ... she's strong, stunning, kind, and her presence is my comfort, but I'm no where near worthy to be with her." Reno tone became a frail one
With a pained expression you stop as Reno immediately took notice halting beside you, while the two of you now faced one another
"What makes you say that ?"
"I'm weak and she doesn't feel the same."
"Well, I'm sure the girl you admire sees the opposite."
Reno eyes slightly widen before closing
"I doubt it, since she treats me like the rest of the officers, and I don't wish for our friendship to deteriorate due to my feelings."
"Perhaps, she feel like you don't like her, which is why she treats you like she does to everyone else."
"That could be it." Reno thumb reached his chin
"Then how should I confess to her ?" A puzzled expression made way to the boys face
"Depends what does she like ?"
"I can't think of anything she doesn't like."
"Oh, then in that case just look her in the eyes and tell her how you feel." You turn to Reno, realizing his eyes surveying your elegant features before remaining on your eyes
"Okay." The boy , observing his red tinted cheeks as he straighten his posture
"Y/n ..." you squinted your eyes in bewilderment
"You're the only person that has made me feel so happy, loved and cared." The boy revealed a genuine smile while his features softened
"I sincerely admire every detail you have, your the only one who's had and has my heart, and if you don't want it that's okay, I just wanted to say thank you for appreciating my well-being and I love you, y/n." Reno watched your suprise expression, his warm smile remained on his lips as his face redden by the second
"Reno..." your face slightly flushed processing this boy heart felt words through your head
Without another word you close the gap that once inhabited between the two of you, placing a passionate loving kiss on his lips
You slightly broke the kiss soon taking note of the boy shocked expression
However before you could completely pull away, Reno places his fingers against your upper nape pulling your lips on his, now it was your turn to be suprise, though it didn't last long as the two of you shut your eyes enjoying the love that was currently being occupied
After a few seconds you wrap your arms around his neck as he shifted his hands under your thighs lifting your body up against his without disturbing the loving contact the two of you continue to share
After a while, the two of you slightly disconnected y'all's lips, gazing at one another with loving eyes realizing the change this kiss will cause
Reno rested his forehead against yours hiding his extremely reddened face, processing the face he kissed his crush, the woman he loved whole heartedly like no other, he's was screaming in the inside
"I love you too, Reno." You mutter, the boy couldn't believe the girl he admired felt the same, it felt like a dream to him, it didn't feel real
Reno released his grasp on you, letting you stand once again, but not without wrapping his arms around your lower waist in a protective yet affectionate manner
You rested your forehead against his chest while wrapping your arms around his slim yet firm torso, you took in the warmth his body radiated

"DID YOU TAKE A PICTURE ?!" Reno shouted back
"I SURE DID- ?!"
"GIMME THAT !!!" Reno release his arms from you before tackling Kafka to the ground, you and Mina observed while Hoshina began to cackle on the ground
