Li ZiChen.
In Beijing, it is impossible for anyone to never once heard the name "Li ZiChen" throughout their entire life. Even the people living in the countryside, those who lack knowledge of the new technologies could never miss hearing the name "Li ZiChen". He was someone that his admirers would describe as "God" while his enemies describe him as "Lucifer." It's a known fact to everyone how Li ZiChen was someone who seemed to love chaos, there were even rumors that said his family belonged to the underworld gang, someone everyone fear to incur the wrath of.
Throughout his life, Li ZiChen's information wasn't much known. Only the fact of his age, his name, and his face is known. Nothing else including his high school life, his love life, and his family live was ever known by the public, all this because they believe Li ZiChen himself was the one to hide it.
Other than the fact he came from an underworld family, the reason why he was feared happened six years ago but now everyone who dared to speak up about that "incident" six years ago, they also have to be prepared having a few fingers to be cut off their bodies by Li ZiChen's men.
However for someone who had spent her prime years in the prison ever since the coming of age when she was eighteen, AiLin doesn't know much about Li ZiChen. She only heard from the girls earlier in the bathroom how he is someone wealthy, too wealthy even. Having spent six years in the prison cell she doesn't know if the wealth has shifted thus she has no way of measuring the wealth and power Li ZiChen actually possess.
Though there are a few things the clever headed AiLin could tell.
One, this man smiles but those smiles don't really reach his eyes. He seemed to smile because he was finding everything amusing, something that only people who enjoys seeing chaos and bloodshed would enjoy. He opened himself to be friendly to her for some reason but she could tell he wasn't usually THIS friendly of a person. Rather he would have been someone cold just to the woman who had attacked him earlier in the hotel, he was someone who wouldn't mind resorting to violence. Though she disliked violence, AiLin believe in the prison that one should be prepared for the outcome they had caused, like the girl being attacked for attacking Li ZiChen himself.
Second, she could tell that Li ZiChen didn't come to her purely out of interest. His eyes were gleaming with desires, meaning there was something he really wanted from her. Something really really badly.
But what can she offer to him? She was someone who had just came out of the prison. If it was the money in her black duffle bag then that would be even more impossible since the watch he is wearing now seemed even pricier than the money in her duffle bag.
That was why his currently kindness to her now feels really discomforting. He wants something from her, something she couldn't comprehend what it would be. But it worries her even more that he is actually someone sent by the Jiangs, or wanting to help the Jiang. She doesn't think it's possible but she couldn't possibly rule out all the possibilities yet when nothing is certain.
"What I want from you?" Li ZiChen hummed, his breaths brushing the tip of her cold nose and she could see as his eyes brooded over his own answers. "No one had sent me after you. As for what I want from you, well it is something you cannot give to me now yet."
AiLin narrowed her eyes and feeling how he seemed to be staring so hard on her red lips, she released her grip on his necktie and shooed him, "Let us make this our last meeting once and for all. I'm telling you but I am someone really dangerous. You wouldn't want to mess with me or bother me, for your own sake that is."
She refused to trust him and although he had helped her before now she really feels too skeptical to be anywhere near him.
"I'm warning you," she said with eyes narrowed and coldness covering her face, "Come again near me and you will be in danger."
Li ZiChen watched as she walked away, her red bottom heels tapping on the floor with bravery and confidence. His smile that had disappeared from his face appeared again this time wider and more flushed. He leaned his head on the wall behind him and tapped his lower lips with his thumb, "That was hot," he remarked with a faint chuckle. He stared at her back again disappearing into the party hall, his eyes burning brighter as he couldn't see her anymore.
AiLin had bravely asked him what he wanted and threatened him but he knew she wasn't someone dangerous to him. The only thing he wanted to do was to help her but instead he had made a flaw in his plan and instead made her be on her guards again. That was something he regret. He had told himself to be patient, to make it seemed as if he wanted nothing to do with her so he could break down her guards. But each interaction that they made urged him to quickly cut the distance between them— so he could bring their distance to nothing and make her closer to him. But he knew he was far too hasty with his actions and now made her pull away.
Though it seemed that sooner or later that his plan would go in full motion and she would need him, all going according to his plans.
