Chapter 8 | You found me

"Okay, I'll go out with you." Julian mumbled after much contemplating and looked up at Adam. He saw how his face lit up and a toothy grin spread on his face. This made his decision so much easier seeing how happy he made Adam with these words.

"It will be the best date ever; you won't regret it." Adam said and pulled him closer again. Julian's heart fluttered as he was pulled against that broad chest again and he felt weak in his knees. This man made him feel things he had never felt before. He wasn't some blushing virgin anymore, but he felt like one in his arms! He usually was the dominant one in the relationship, and he would swoon girls of their feet but this was a completely new experience. He smiled as Adam sniffed his scent.

"You smell so good." Adam whispered and Julian shivered as he felt his hot breath against his neck. Now really wasn't the time to get turned on! He quickly shoved Adam away and stepped back a little. Julian rummaged around in his cabinet closest to the door and pulled out a notepad and a pen, he scribbled his number on it and gave it to a grinning Adam who was still trying to get closer to him and pull him back in his arms.

"Uhm. Here, my number..." Julian said and darted his eyes everywhere but on Adam while he handed Adam the note. He still felt hot, and his heart was hammering away in his chest. He just couldn't control himself when he was near him. His scent was so intoxicating.

"Thanks... I'll contact you. Is next Friday good?"

"Yes, I'll think I'm free then." Julian mumbled softly and looked back at Adam. His ears reddening by Adam's intimate stares.

"I'll pick you up then, I'll text you the time." Adam said and leaned in to grab Julian's hand and kissed the back softly. "I'm so happy I found you..." He whispered and looked up through his long lashes at Julian.

Julian felt flustered at the very romantic and intimate gesture and pulled his hand back, scared of what he would do. He cleared his throat and pushed his now-tingling hand in his pockets.

"I'll be leaving then." Adam grinned and stepped back to grab the door handle. He opened it and stepped out. But before he closed it, he quickly stepped back in and pecked Julian on his soft lips. He laughed and quickly closed the door behind him. Julian was spluttering and blushing at the sudden action and stared at the closed door.

That man was going to be the death of him.

Adam was walking back to his car with a big smile on his face. He felt so light and fluttery now that he had finally found Julian, he was not going to let him go this time. He would make sure he didn't ever want to leave his side again.

This was very unusual for him. He was a mafia boss for heaven's sake! How was he even going to tell him about that? He would figure it out soon but right now he wanted to enjoy the moment he could spend with Julian. Just thinking of his name made his heart beat faster. A cold-hearted man's heart could be melted by just the right person. He quickly stepped into his car and looked back once more at the little apartment. He sighed with joy and started the car before driving off.

Julian was standing in front of his mirror, deciding what to wear. He was so nervous; he was going on a date with Adam. The night Adam had suddenly appeared at his door was a week ago and he had hesitantly agreed to go on a date with him. He still wasn't sure if he was making the right choice but when he thought about him, butterflies fluttered in his stomach and a blush would appear on his face. He was just getting to know himself and already falling head over heels would be too much right? Wasn't this all too soon and... he was carrying his child. He gulped as he thought of that. He couldn't tell him that, but he also couldn't let him go. He was scared that if he told him he was pregnant it would scare him away. It wasn't like they had planned it and he didn't even know if Adam liked or even wanted kids! He hadn't even told him he was an omega yet so that would be the first step. About the baby, was he even ready to have one? He could just have it removed... he shivered at that thought. It made him feel cold and his omega wasn't happy either with that thought. He felt nauseous at the thought of just ending the pregnancy. In these 4 weeks, he had already connected with the thought of this child. It scared him but also made his heart grow with love. It wasn't this baby's fault that they had unprotected sex. He would have to figure it out though, he still had time to think this through and maybe in the future tell Adam. He sighed and walked back to his closet to once again try on another outfit.
