"Thanks girl" I look into the mirror at my hair. "But the farrid big tho".
I put down the mirror on the vanity and get up taking off the drape.
I open my purse and remove the money from it. "Here darling".
"Yuh neva haffi pay mi enuh cause yah mi boss" She smiles, taking the money.
"Neva mix business and friends" I tell her putting on my bag. "Plus not because mi a the boss yuh nuh fi pay mi".
"A hear yuh miss" She laughs as she puts the money in her little jar.
"Anyways mi a go weh yah now" I tell her looking at myself in the mirror one more time.
"Wait when yuh say yah go pon vacation again" She ask prepping her station for the next client.
"Hear yah" I laugh out. "A tomorrow mi a plan fi leave a wah?".
Anuh tomorrow mi a leave a just through mi nuh want dem in a mi business.

"Nothing just a ask" She sits in the chair.
She's the only Jamaican that works in here.

"Oh, later then" I walk out of her station.
I'm at one of my beauty bars to get my hair done for the trip.

I walk to my office and open the door going in.
I take out my business phone from my bag while I walk to my desk.
I dial Katelyn's number and wait for her to pick up.
"Hello" She answers.
"Good day Katelyn" I greet her "As you know I'm going out of the country for a while and I'm begging you to please make sure everyone is in order".
"You know you can count on me Miss Palmer" She replied.
"Please don't disappoint me because I didn't elect you for supervisor for no reason" I tell her sitting.
"I won't make you disappointed ma'am".
"Okay have a good day". I tell her ready to hang up.
"Thanks you too" And with that I hang up.
