Okay so I have a 1 o'clock appointment and it's currently 9:17 and I'm going to meet Bri.
I dail her number waiting for her to pick up.
"Hello" Her voice booms through the phone.
"Girl I'm in Jamaica!" I shout excited.
"Yuh lie" She say not believing me. "Weh yuh deh".
"Mi deh a wah air bnb a Ironshore". I answer her, getting up to pack the kids bag with the snacks that I bring for them from overseas.
"Bitch how long yah stay fah" She then ask.
"That a wah mi nah go tell yuh" I laugh, picking up the few snacks and juice stuffing them in their separate bags.
"Okay that's fair" She said. "When yah come look fimi" She then ask.
"Today mi plan fi come look fi yuh by the way right now" I answer her zipping up the bags.
"Alright mi sen yuh mi location call mi when yuh reach a the security post" She says, excitement evident in her voice.
"Okay" I tell her ready to hang up.
"And Nuh badda tek long" She laughs.
I laugh too then hang up.
I take up the bags and place then in the couch where the babies were sitting watching YouTube as always.
"Mi ago cut down unuh screen time" I tell them walking off to my room for my handbag.

"Ahh" Bri screams as she slowly runs towards me with her big belly Infront of her.
A bright smile was plastered on my face as I outstretch my arms running towards her to meet her halfway.
I indulge her in a hug rocking her from side to side.
We stayed like that for about two minutes straight until I decide to pull away.
"It coming like yuh neva wah let mi go" I smile at her.
She wipes a tear that slips from her eye "Mi neva wah let yuh go".
I start to laugh.
