No Ones POV

Everyone loves to be right in every situation. Who wouldn't want to be correct. Maegoryia knew that she loved to be right, especially when she was going against her brothers. But at this moment she wished nothing more than to be wrong. She woke up to Aemond pacing in front of her bed, still in his night clothes. She immediately knew she was right and her eyes started to fail her as they teared up.

"Aemond.." Maegoryia's tone was suggestive, as if questioning if it had happened, wanting a simple answer and wanting it immediately. Aemond had stopped his movements when he heard her trembling voice and looking at her, no eye patch was visible, showing that he must have just woken up as well. It was still pitch black as the moon was shining through her window. Aemond gave her one look and she knew. Mae shook her head over and over again as her lips quivered and her tears began to fall, trying to deny what Aemond has just told her in one look and no words. He immediately was by her side, sitting against the headboard with her in his arms as she curled her knees under her chin, whispering about how he can't be and other words that couldn't be heard as her sobs had gotten louder and it was no doubt that it was heard throughout the whole left wing where her room was. Aemond sat there, knowing that he was a horrible father to him but knew he loved Mae like she was his own. Aemond knew that Mae was only his half sister, knowing that his mother had an affair with the rogue prince and his older sister was born nine months later. He couldn't give a shit about his father, the only reason he was so distraught was because he was thinking about how his older sister would react to the news, and if she would be okay. So he went straight to her room to watch over her and protect her. And now he was holding her as tight as possible as she was sobbing along with Város' deep cry as he felt his riders pain. Aemond wouldn't be surprised if everyone woke up after hearing Város. He had one of the loudest voice known among all the dragons.

"I know sister. It will be okay. He is at peace now. No need to be worried. He is okay." Aemond found himself repeating sentences as a way to calm both himself and Mae, not wishing her for her to cry any longer. He was never good with emotion after he turned ten and one. It was like a light switch and his whole personality and perspective on things changed. He was a whole new person after that. After a while the sun had risen and Maegoryia had fallen asleep with wet tears and a frown on her face in Aemonds arms but it seemed like Város was still just as loud, maybe even louder, to express the grief they both felt. Aemond was thinking about what dishes he could make Fleur get for Maegoryia so when she woke she could eat in bed and rest but his thoughts were broken by the doors opening and Alicent stepping through them. She wasn't shocked to see her two children together, she knew that Aemond and Maegoryia had a close bond when it came to their emotions. They had always went to each other instead of her when they were sad. She didn't mind after a while but at first it angered her. Aemond simply looked at her with an irritated look.

"Wake her." Was the first thing Alicent said and Aemond shook his head softly as he gently pressed a tender kiss on Maegoryia's forehead and rubbing her shoulder to wake her up as their mother's command. Maegoryia woke in Aemonds arms with her mother standing at the foot of her bed expressionless as she could still hear the restless cry's of Város.

"The King is dead. Before he passed he wished for Aegon to be crowned as his successor and-" before Alicent could finish, her daughter had let out a scoff as she watched Alicent with cold and droopy eyes. Alicent ignored her before continuing her sentence, "Aegon seems to have realized that he would be crowned and has ran. No one seems to be able find him and I want you both to contribute. Aemond, I want you to go out with Ser Criston Cole along with Cargyll twins to find him. Maegoryia, I want you to fly your beast and sight from the skies as I know you are in no condition to be seen in the public eye, you're welcome. Now get dressed and be quick before that whore Rhaenyra and her bastard children find out that we are vulnerable." with that last word, the dowager queen left the room. Aemond looked at his sister and knew she was in no condition to even leave her room. She needed rest.
