Lucifer's Pov:
I looked across the room at Alastor, who was sitting in a corner of the room in the floor with a book in his hands. Did he ever put those stupid books down? I sighed quietly, walking over to Alastor and sitting down next to him. He looked up at me, after finishing the paragraph he was reading of course.
"Hello, deer." He said quietly.
"Hello." I leaned over his shoulder to look at what he was reading, but it wasn't one of the same three books he usually reads over and over so I couldn't figure out what it was. I guess Alastor noticed my confused look.
"It's called The Secret Wisdom of the Earth. I'm not too fond of it, but I could not seem to find the books I do enjoy, so i just settled on this one." He said, looking back at the page.
I watched his eyes darting back and forth as he read the book. His eyes were so pretty. A dark red, with a little bit of purple. Why'd I have to be stuck with yellow? Red would be so much better.
I looked away from him when I heard the doorbell ring. Charlie stood up from the couch, pushing a sleeping Vaggie off her lap, and she went over to the door and opened it. I watched. Before I could even see who was at the door, Charlie gave whoever it was a really tight hug.
That's when I saw the long blond hair I recognized immediately.
Hi guys! Just fyi, this is my first time writing a fan fiction, so I apologize if its bad, also I know this chapter might be a little boring, but I wanted to get a good introduction.
