Alastor's POV:
I sighed, trying to keep myself from crying as I followed behind Lucifer. My vision was blurry from tears in my eyes. I hope Lucifer wouldn't notice.
I had expected Lucifer to sit down in the lobby, but he didn't. He kept walking, going towards the kitchen. I rolled my eyes, and knew exactly what he was doing.
I followed behind him slowly. I had blamed my slow pace on falling and hitting my leg, but I really was just too tired, mentally and physically, to walk much faster.Lucifer opened the fridge and got out a gallon of milk. I sat down on a stool on the other side of the island counter, resting my head on my palm, elbow on the table.
"You're gonna eat. It's been three days. And it's only not been way longer because I force fed you." Lucifer said in his slightly commanding tone.
I just sighed and nodded, knowing i wasn't going to be able to change Lucifer's mind. I watched him make pancakes, some Carmel apple flavor and some just regular like I liked it.Lucifer's POV:
I slid a plate with a few pancakes on it to Al's. He looked up and gave a small tilt of his head in appreciation.
I sat down next to him and started eating my plate of caramel apple pancakes. I hated the regular ones; they weren't sweet enough, and chocolate pancakes were only sweet on the parts with the chocolate chips. Plus I liked apples, so I always made apple pancakes. Alastor didn't like sweets so I always made some regular, boring, pancakes for him, even if he didn't always eat it.Alastor gave a low sigh and took a small bite of a pancake. It wasn't much, but at least he ate something.
Al' sat there for a moment before laying his head down on the table, idly playing with his food. Every once in a while he'd take a small bite. I'd already finished five pancakes before he even got halfway done with one. It took almost an hour to get him to eat a pancake. A whole hour for one pancake. At least he ate it.Alastor's POV:
I put my head back down on the table. Now I felt sick from eating on top of the dread I was feeling. Lilith was planning something. And it wasn't long until she fulfilled that plan.
I won't be able to stop her from doing whatever it was she was planning. Fuck, she might even force to join in! What if I hurt Lucifer? Or the others?I sat with my head down for a while longer since Lucifer was cleaning up and I didn't want to leave him my himself, especially if Lilith is wandering around somewhere.
I looked up when someone walked into the room. It was Angel.
"Hullo Angel." I said, picking my head up and looking at him.
He grinned cheekily. "Lookin' sexy today, Al."
I rolled my eyes.
Lucifer shot a glare at Angel, who ignored it and sat down next to me.
"Lilith is cool. She complimented my 'videos'" Angel said.I wasn't going to ask how Lilith knew about Angel's work. I was more focused on the fact that Angel actually liked her. Did no one seem to get a weird feeling about her!? She left for 8 years, and just randomly decided to show up and act like she's known us for all her life. Does that not seem suspicious to anyone?
I felt the tears in my eyes returning as my mind wandered back to the thoughts of someone getting hurt because of Lilith. I think Angel noticed because he shut up his jabbering about his pig and looked at me. He didn't say anything, just sort of watched me struggling to hold back tears.
The intensity of his gaze made me partially wish that he had spoken up about it instead of staring.
