Ellie's Point of view

I woke up and got dressed and rushed downstairs. Humming to the radio, I then had a piece of toast (Yes I know that no one cares..) and walked to school.

When I got there I saw Charlie in his school uniform but his hair was the same as I made it and he had no glasses, I guess this was the new Charlie. A load of people were crowded around him and he was just talking.

I went to my first lesson where normally I would sit next to Charlie but today he was sat next to Brad. I sat down and got my books out of my bag. I felt someone staring at me. It was Charlie..

I don't know why but he's changing so quickly, and Lola isn't talking to me or Sophie, she's too busy fawning around Charlie..

I heard Lola whisper something to her other friend Jasmine but I couldn't hear what it was but I heard my name. I kept my head down and felt a bit sick.

I can't believe Lola has just ditched me. Now she's talking behind my back, I hate her..

Again and again another lesson after lesson, Charlie was still ignoring me.
"Charlie!" I shouted down the corridor.
He ignored me at first but then after screaming his name for five minutes he turned around.
"What do you want?" He said rudely
"Since I gave you this new look you've been ignoring me."
"No, I'm not.. I'm just... Busy.."
"Sure, you can't ignore me for long, we still have a song to write, remember? You were meant to come to my house but for the fourth day now you've been ignoring me."
"It's just a stupid song anyway. You're being too clingy Ellie." He said running his hand through his hair.
He then walked off. Too clingy? Too clingy!? How can I be 'too clingy' when he's not been talking to me for the last week?!

*Next morning*

It was Saturday and I sat at home eating a sandwich while watching T.V. I was still angry at Charlie for what he said yesterday, it had only been a week and he was already turning Into Brad.

I decided to get off my ass and call Sophie. She came to the park with me and I decided to let off some steam about Charlie.

"I really don't understand how I'm 'too clingy' Sophie, he's being a Nob." I said.
"I know, I know. Why do you care anyway, he has friends now."
"Yeah and he's taken most of mine, Lola doesn't talk to me anymore. Brad isn't either."
"You didn't talk to Brad much anyway."
"Yeah but Charlie's not talking to me either, he has friends now he doesn't need me."
"And you don't need him."
"Now I only have you left, if you left me I'd just be on my own."
"Yeah about that-"
"You hate me now too!?"
"No, no. I could never hate you. I'm sorry to tell you now because you seem so upset but me, my mum and Dad are going to Australia.."
"Australia?! That's all the way across the world? How long are you going.?"
"A year or two."

I just wanted to go and cry, everything was falling apart little by little, I honestly don't know how it could get any worse...

We walked around for a bit more and then we went on the swings,

"So when are you leaving" I asked, seeing how much time I had left with my best friend.
"Next week, we have to leave as soon as possible."
"Are you still going to call-"
I looked ahead to see something that made me feel sick.

There they were, Lola and Charlie holding hands in the park. I gulped and it felt like swallowing a massive dry pill, I felt so much jealousy and I just wanted to stab her, well both of them if I'm honest.

"I think I'm going to go home now." I said getting up.
Sophie nodded her head, knowing why I was going early.
I opened the gate and looked at them two one last time before walking home wanting to punch someone..
