Ellie's Point of view

I slammed the door shut and walked into the kitchen, Stupid Lola..
"You alright Ellie?" My mum asked.
"Nope."
"Well what's wrong?"
"Lola."
"I know, but you can't let one person ruin your life."
"She's been saying and doing horrible things to me."
"Like what?"
"Threatening me, Telling everyone I'm responsible for Sophie's death."
"I've got some news that might make you feel better."
"What?"
"We can finally move."
I was shocked. Move?

Charlie's Point of view

I kept calling her but no answer. Ellie, pick up already?!
She answered.
"Thank god you answered. Listen I didn't-"
"I know you didn't kiss her."
"Phew because I felt really bad and I just wanted to say-"
"I'm leaving Charlie."
"Leaving? What do you mean you're leaving? You can't leave, What about-"
"I'm so sorry, Charlie. I just feel like I need to."
"Is it because of Lola?"
"No. Sorry to throw this on you but. I just."
"But I love-"
She hung up.

I woke up and saw my mum at the end of my bed.
"Time to get up. I'm not going work today so I'll give you and Brooke a ride to school."
I got up slowly, rubbing my eyes because I was extremely tired practicing the song for today.
I slowly got dressed and ready. I then got the backing track I needed for the song and got in the car. Mum dropped me off first and I ran into the classroom.
Ellie was talking to Leondre and I sat next to them.
"So last lesson you will perform your songs.Ellie I know you won't be there."
"Why are you leaving so early?" I asked.
"If I leave just before the holidays start I get ten percent of my ticket to America."
"You are a cheap Charlie aren't you."
She hit my arm playfully, "Shut up." She laughed.
I wanted to cry, but I was a boy and she wasn't crying so that would make me the wimp I was before I met her.

"I'll miss you more than anyone Charlie."
"I'll miss you as well. I'm just really disappointed you won't hear the song I've written for you."
"I wish I could, Try and get someone to film it for me?"
"Definitely."

After that class, I spent the whole day with her. I sat with her in every class and talked to her every lesson. It was lunch and she had to go. I felt a lump in my throat.
"Charlie, It's time for me to go now."
I hugged her tighter than ever, "Ellie, I love you."
"Aw, Charlie. I love you too." She hugged me back.
I kissed her on the cheek and she walked out of the school.

I walked to Music because we had a double lesson so everyone could present their song.
I have to say most of the songs were crap. Don't even get me started on Lola's, hers was the worst. She was working with Sophie but Yeah.
I was nearly falling asleep watching the boring ones, then almost pissing myself with the bad singers. Brad wasn't a bad singer. Lola was.

Miss must have known my song would be good as she saved me for last.
"Charlie, You're last. What's your song called?"
"Let Her Go."
"Okay good luck."
I breathed in then out.

'Well you only need the light when it's burning low
Only miss the sun when it starts to snow
Only know you love her when you let her go.

Only know you've been high when you're feeling low
Only hate the road when you're missin' home
Only know you love her when you let her go
And you let her go.

Staring at the bottom of your glass
Hoping one day you'll make a dream last
But dreams come slow and they go so fast.

You see her when you close your eyes
Maybe one day you'll understand why
Everything you touch surely dies,

But you only need the light when it's burning low
Only miss the sun when it starts to snow
Only know you love her when you let her go

Only know you've been high when you're feeling low
Only hate the road when you're missin' home
Only know you love her when you let her go.

Staring at the ceiling in the dark
Same old empty feeling in your heart
'Cause love comes slow and it goes so fast,

Well you see her when you fall asleep
But never to touch and never to keep
'Cause you loved her too much
And you dived too deep,

Well you only need the light when it's burning low
Only miss the sun when it starts to snow
Only know you love her when you let her go,

Only know you've been high when you're feeling low
Only hate the road when you're missin' home
Only know you love her when you let her go,

And you let her go (oh, oh, ooh, oh no)
And you let her go (oh, oh, ooh, oh no)
Will you let her go?

'Cause you only need the light when it's burning low
Only miss the sun when it starts to snow
Only know you love her when you let her go,

Only know you've been high when you're feeling low
Only hate the road when you're missin' home
Only know you love her when you let her go

'Cause you only need the light when it's burning low
Only miss the sun when it starts to snow
Only know you love her when you let her go

Only know you've been high when you're feeling low
Only hate the road when you're missin' home
Only know you love her when you let her go

And you let her go...'

I heard claps in the room and I saw Brad with his camera out, he'd filmed the whole song.

"This is going on YouTube." He laughed.

And that's how it all started..
