You Have To Dress To Impress
*Charlie's Point Of View
It wasn't Lola but I thought 'Just Go with it'
"Yeah, it is."
"Oh." She said. Oh? Was she disappointed I fancied her friend, well I didn't really.
"But she's never going to go out with me." I said, trying to sound disappointed.
"I think she would, Charlie. You just need to change your look."
"But I like how I look." I said and she laughed.
"Sorry, I didn't mean it like that, but maybe we could just change a couple things."
"Oh Okay, that's fine."
"I'll come in the weekend and I'll give you A makeover to get your gal!" She winked.

"How about having your hair like this?" Ellie said getting more gel and making it into a quiff.
"I don't know."
"It looks hot, we're keeping it like this."

I put them on and blinked a lot because I had not been used to having them on.
"Okay then. Last bit. I know we wear school uniform but this is for the weekends or you could wear some of these on Friday on non school uniform day." I smiled.
"Thank you so much Ellie." I hugged her tight and she hugged me back.
"Lola is going to love you when she sees you on Friday."
My smile faded a bit.
*It's Friday! Friday, Gotta get down on Friday!
I looked in the mirror once more before walking downstairs.
Mum's eyes widened.
"Still trying to impress 'Lola'?" she said laughing.
"Don't you dare tell Ellie it's not Lola!" I shouted
"Calm down, I won't I won't." she laughed
I put my fingers through my hair making sure I looked okay before leaving,
"Charlie you look great, don't worry."
I had a few spoon fulls of cereal and ran out the door. I walked to school and then I stood at the door.I took deep breaths.. Here we go Charlie...
