Ellie's Point of view
I sat down next to Charlie, wearing my blue dress that me and Sophie wore a year ago, we both bought matching dresses and this was it except she wasn't matching me. Charlie gave me a big hug and I wanted to cry.
After ten minutes or so It all went quiet, You could hear sniffing in the background.
Sophie's mum and dad went up at the front and started,
"Sophie" . My beautiful daughter, every morning she would come downstairs for her breakfast with a gorgeous smile on her face whatever the weather, she was strong, confident and unique in her own way, before I start crying I want to say thank you to Ellie, who was her best friend since they met, I'm so sorry Ellie, I wish I could turn back time. Rest in Peace."
Everyone did there small speeches then her parents sat down.
They both sat down and looked at me, I looked at the small paragraph in my hands. No. I don't want it written, I want it from the heart. I ripped it and passed it to Charlie, who smiled at me, I walked up, not looking behind me, I don't want to see her coffin, I want hope she's still here but she isn't.
"Sophie, not just my friend. My sister. Always there for me no matter what, even when we fell out it was over something silly and we'd always make up. Have sleep overs, do each others make up and other things best friends do. When I was at my lowest, she made me my highest, Kept all my secrets and I kept hers. I could tell her anything, it came such a shock to me when it happened I felt my world was falling apart, but even though she's not here I feel she's always watching and still helping me throughout my best and worst and she will always be in my memories, never ever forgotten and never ever replaced. I know Lola was your friend Sophie and the bitch isn't here today. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry this happened to you, you didn't deserve any of this but it happened and I wish I could turn back time but I can't. Rest in Peace Sophie, always remembered, never forgotten."I walked over to see her dead body and I held in the tears in my eyes, I laid down a letter, a flower and the other charm on the friendship bracelet she gave me when we were eight. I saw the mark where she had been stabbed. I'm just glad I got to say goodbye.
So long and goodnight Sophie.
Charlie's Point of view.
I walked Ellie to her house and hugged her before she went in. I then thought I should go into the park or something, I looked in the park to see Lilly sitting on the bench with someone, not Brad.
