"Stay here", Klaus demanded to the two girls. They had arrived outside of the Mystic Falls cemetery. The girls couldn't exactly see what was going on, but they could see light flickering that indicates fire. The three brothers trudged ahead in the direction of the flames. Erica, the more curious of the twins peaked around the tree she was hidden behind to try and catch a glimpse.
The girls could only make out a few words said. They heard a woman talking. It wasn't until the brothers started talking that they were clued in better.
"Enough. All this talk is boring me. End this now, Mother, or I'll send you back to Hell.", Klaus snapped!
The next voice she recognized was Kol's. "That's lovely. We're stuck out here, while the favorite son plays sacrificial lamb. How pathetic you are, Finn".
"Now boys", the woman said, "I am trying to fix my wrongdoings. I turned you into monsters and now I have to make it right. Your brother Finn understands that".
Elijah was the next to speak. "I believe only a monster would try and kill her children".
"Even you Elijah", she spat, "with all of your nobility.. You are no better than the rest of them. Now Finn".
Erica was quick to act without thinking. She didn't want her mate sacrificed, even she hadn't seen his face.
"STOP!", Erica yelled as she ran out from behind her hiding spot. Hanna chasing closely behind her in worry that her sister might get harmed. Erica stopped in front of the four brothers and their mother. Hanna quickly grabbed her hand. She siphoned some magic incase she needed it. She was hoping they wouldn't need it.
"Finn", Erica said out of breath, "You do not know me, but I want to know you. We both want to know you". Hanna nodded slowly next to her. Finn's eyes were fixated on the girls. He felt it. The bond was starting. He had just laid eyes on his soulmate, and he found out that he has two of them.
For the first time in many years Finn let out a genuine smile. He knew he was supposed to help his mother, but the thought of dying and leaving his soulmates alone was no longer an option. He quickly tuned to Esther. "I'm sorry mother, but I do not want this".
The twins locked hands, and together muttered the words, "ameè anoí huvsé". It was a long shot. The girls weren't well trained witches. Erica was mostly self taught with the occasional stolen grimoire. Hanna was a siphon witch, and the reason they didn't belong to a coven. The coven she was born to called her an abomination, and she was treated poorly by her own mother. She would have never have made it, if it wasn't for her twin. Her and Erica took care of one another. One thing they did know though, when Hanna siphoned from Erica, it made them poweful. Poweful enough to scare Esther.
"No Finn", Esther protested, "You cannot betray me. You have to die. You all have to die".
With a flash, the shield preventing the other three brothers from entering dropped. The twins had managed to undo her spell. Erica was a bit cautious about it being so easy, but she was too focused on saving her new found mates.
