Tears were streaming down my cheeks, riding my horse to mine and my Love's hiding place where no one knew, hearing the thunder and my horse hooves hitting the ground "Come on, girl We're almost there." I told my horse the beautiful beauty, getting close to the hiding place. Two days ago I found out that I am married to a Knight that my father chose for me. The man wasn't just any Knight, he was the king. Getting closer to the hidden place, the rain began to fall hard, the cloak of my hoodie covering my head.

The thunder spooked my horse as she stopped, startled, and jumped sideways kicking me off as she ran off. I stood up as I began running on foot trying to make it to the hiding place. Holding the hoodie of my cloak, that wouldn't fly off my head, getting closer to the hidden location when I heard his voice "Rin?" My prince said, I got inside the cave that is our hidden place, took off the hoodie as my long black hair loss, and turned to face my love who was worried in his eyes. "What is wrong? What is troubling you."

I began to sob, "My father had an arranged marriage, to a sir knight who is a king." I admit to him having my head down as my love felt beyond shock by this news, he came up to cup my cheeks with his hands to lift my head, our gaze locked on each other. His beautiful blue gaze was sad, loving, and worried. No one knows that Prince David and I are in love, we've been seeing each other secretly. David makes me feel alive when I'm with him, he's the moon of my life, and I'm his sun and stars.

He leans towards me as our lips touch, his soft lips as I put my hand on top of his hand, he's the only person that I've wanted to be with. David broke the kiss, pressed his forehead against mine, and we stood there in silence only the rain and thunder. Tears were still coming down my cheek, felt his arms around my wrist pulling me close to him tightly, he raised his right arm and felt his hand touching my head.

That's when he broke the silence, "My love, run away with me." He asked, I removed my forehead from his, and opened my eyes to lock on his gaze.

"Where too?" I question him as he smiles, taking hold of my hand in his.

"Anywhere you want to go, my love." David said, "A place where no one will find us, no one will notice us." I couldn't help but smile at him, "Meet me back here on this spot, three days from now." My smile becomes a frown, three days from now when the wedding begins, he notices something is wrong. "No." He said with a weak voice.

"David, the wedding is in three days from now." I admitted to him, "My father told the kingdom this afternoon and invited another kingdom as well." Looking down, "Does he think knows about us?" with worry in my voice.

"I'm not too sure, my love, ... do you want to marry this man?" He asked me while shaking my head no, I don't want to marry the king who is not my prince, I couldn't love anyone else. The thunder spooked me as David held me close to him. "Let me build a fire, I don't want you to catch a cold." he moves away, and I turn towards the opening of the cave. Doubt it, My father would notice I'm gone, no one checks up on my room while the guards are on duty. My father has been a rival to the House of Oakenshield

for as long as I can remember, "My love, please have a seat that you can keep warm." I heard my lover say, Turn away from the open cave, walk towards the fire he made, sit down on the ground, take off my cloak, putting my knees against my chest just staring at the fire, the flames are dancing. David sat next to me, taking off his fur cloak, "Do you remember how we met?"

I turn away from the fire and face him, he smiles on his face as I do the same "Yes, of course I've remembered, How could I?" I replied to him, My horse was spooked by a sound and took off into the woods, trying to stop Beauty from slowing down, but she kept on running until I was saved by Prince Charming here. We've taken a liking to each other, down the line we've fallen in love. "You saved me from death from my horse."

He chuckles, "I will hold it in my heart." David said, "I'll admit it to myself, I knew who you were, I never cared if you were my rival or my father's rival."

"You think our fathers were friends?" I asked him

"Maybe?"

I lay my head on his shoulder as he lay his head on top of mine, We both stare at the fire together, want to spend the rest of my life with David, I can't marry a man who I've never met. I wanted to choose who I wanted to marry, the man I wanted to marry was right here sitting next to me. If my father had found out about David, he would have killed me. Then he'll go find David and kill him too, which could have caused a war with David's father.

"I should get back before my father starts to gather the knights to look for me," David said, picked up his head, stood up to grab his cloak, and put it on. He helped me up, At least I'm dry and the storm stops, I'm going to have found my horse. David helped me with my cloak, putting it on. When he said, "Met me back here two days from now, we can start a new life." I turned around to face him, putting his arms around me. "My sun and stars, my lovely Rin... I will love you until the end of time." put my arms around his neck, I don't want to leave this cave. He leaned in towards me as our lips touched once more.

But I never made it back to the spot where I was supposed to be with the love of my life, because I was killed by my father, and found out about my secret lover of Prince David. David was also killed by the hand of my father and went to war with David's father.

One day I will meet David again, for our past, present, and future, we will be together again.
