2009 dan and phil | skype call after meeting for the first time

Dan sat at his desk, a silly grin on his face as he waited for the Skype call to connect. He couldn't believe he had just spent hours talking to Phil in person, and now they were going to continue their conversation online.

Finally, the call connected and Phil's face popped up on the screen. "Heya Dan," he said, his own smile mirroring Dan's.

Dan's heart skipped a beat at the sight of Phil's smiling face. He had been crushing on the other YouTuber for months and finally getting to spend time with him in person had only made his feelings stronger. "Hey Phil," he said, trying to keep his voice casual.

"So, how was it meeting me in person?" Phil asked, a teasing glint in his eye.

Dan blushed and rolled his eyes. "Oh, you know, it was alright. You're not as annoying as you are online, I guess."

Phil laughed, the sound making Dan's heart do a little flip. "Oh, so now I'm not as annoying, hm? Maybe I should be more annoying online, just to keep things consistent."

Dan rolled his eyes again, but he couldn't help but smile. "Please don't, my poor ears wouldn't be able to handle it."

Phil chuckled. "Alright, I promise I'll try to keep my annoying tendencies in check... for your sake."

Dan couldn't tell if Phil was being serious or just teasing him, but either way he loved every second of it. "Thanks for the consideration," he said, his tone full of sarcasm.

Phil just laughed again, enjoying their banter. The two lapsed into a comfortable silence for a few moments.

Dan looked at Phil on the screen, his heart swelling with emotion. "I miss you," he said suddenly, the words slipping out before he could stop himself.

Phil's smile softened at the sincerity in Dan's voice. "I miss you too," he said quietly, his own voice betraying his longing.

Dan leaned back in his chair, feeling a little bit embarrassed at his sudden confession. "I know it's only been a few hours since we saw each other," he said, trying to downplay his feelings.

Phil just shook his head, his expression gentle. "It doesn't matter how long it's been," he said. "I still miss you."

Dan's heart skipped a beat at Phil's words, and he had to remind himself to breathe. He didn't know if Phil was just saying that to be nice or if he actually meant it, but either way it made him feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Dan had never really had a close friend before, and he had been relentlessly bullied at school. He had always felt like an outcast, like he didn't fit in anywhere. But then he met Phil online, and everything changed.

Phil was kind and funny, and he seemed to genuinely enjoy Dan's company. They quickly developed a strong friendship, bonding over their shared interests and sense of humor. For the first time in his life, Dan didn't feel alone.

Dan and Phil would talk for hours on Skype, chatting about everything from their favorite TV shows to their weirdest dreams. They would make each other laugh until their sides ached, and they would comfort each other whenever one of them was feeling down.

Phil was looking at Dan's face on the screen, feeling a pang of longing. "When are you coming to see me again?" he asked, his voice betraying his eagerness to see his friend in person.

Dan's face lit up at the question, and he felt a wave of excitement wash over him. He had been looking for an excuse to visit Phil again, and now it seemed like the perfect opportunity.
