Chapter 10

After everyone was done eating, Sonia left to give Nessa her bento box. Dawn had to reluctantly leave to go meet up with Cynthia and go back to Sinnoh. Raihan and Leon were out back, meeting all my Pokémon they hadn't met yet. Gordie and Milo are helping me clean up. "Thanks for the help, fellas. I appreciate it." I said while washing the dishes, Milo was drying them off, and Gordie put them away. They both said at the same time, "It's no problem at all." They just stared at each other for a moment.

I chuckled, which made them stop staring at each other. we all continued to clean, not long after Gordie's phone went off. He went to check, and Melony had messaged him to come back home. "Oh, bolucks, I have to go. Mum says she needs help." I smiled. "I'm glad you and your mum's relationship have gotten better after the fights you all had." I was genuinely happy for him and Melony. "Yeah, it's still a working progress. Couldn't stay mad at each other forever." He made his way to the door frame. "I'll see you lot later!" He waved goodbye. "See ya, Gordie!" I said, waving back. Milo also waved goodbye to Gordie.

It was just me and Milo now. We finished the dishes no longer than a couple of minutes when Gordie left. "Awesome, hey, if you still have time, wanna go see Meganium and its siblings?" I asked, drying my hands off. His green eyes lit up. "Yeah, I've been excited to see them ever since I saw your drawing the other day." Setting the towel down the counter, I was walking to the backdoor that leads outside. "Great, let's see how Leon and Raihan are doing as well."

We went outside, and Lucario ran up to us, signaling with just a look over his should to follow him. He led us to a couple of my legendary Pokémon, that Leon was geeking over, and Raihan was taking selfies with Leon in the background, I sighed, shrugging and shaking my head. "What am I going to do with you guys?" I walk over toward them. "You remember not to share those pictures right, Raihan?" He gave me a thumbs up. "Which Pokémon are these two Casslynn?" I looked at Leon in confusion. "You didn't use your own Pokédex?"

"No... I kind of got caught up with the moment." He said blatantly. I walked over to the Pokémon. "This is Latias.." and gave her a head rub. She gave a hum of approval, then I rest my other hand on Latios shoulder. "And this one is Latios. They are both Legendary from the Hoenn region. They are known as the Eon Pokémon, and both are Dragon and Psychic types." I finished saying, and Latios had a look of pride in his eyes.

"Well, I'll be..." Milo walked up beside Raihan, who was also a little taken back. "Yeah, I have most of the legendary Pokémon in my PC cause of their abilities. These two, on the other hand, like Lucario, I have protecting the Pokémon here as well. They must've been watching you two and decide to show themselves." I speculated, the two nodded, and looked at Lucario. "Ah, Lucario told you that Leon and Raihan are my friends?" Latias nuzzle me. "I missed you too, I'm glad you two are doing a great job. Keep up the good work!" I praised them, Latios nods and looks at Latias, who reluctantly let me go. They both turn invisible and left.

-Milo's pov-

I couldn't help but think about how amazing Casslynn is. To be able to catch a legendary itself is a huge feat. But to catch so many and to have special bonds with them as well? She is absolutely incredible. I could feel my heart pound in my chest a little. She looked so cute... "THEY CAN TURN INVISIBLE?!" Leon said, shocked, taking me back to reality. She grins at Leon. "Yup! It's one of the reasons why I have them out in about. They can stay hidden." She smiles and looks over to Lucario. "Think you can help me find Meganium and her siblings?" He nods and starts walking in a direction, already knowing where they are. "Oh yeah, we already met them. You'll like them for sure, Milo." Raihan nudged me with his elbow. "Oh, I believe ya, you should have seen Casslynn's drawing of them, I was clearer than a picture." I said. Raihan smirked at me, I'm starting to think that he knows that I like Casslynn like my brother. Last night probably didn't help my case either.

"Casslynn, me and Raihan actually have to go." Leon said, sounding a little disappointed. Raihan leaned whispered to me. "I'm helping Leon with Sonia. If you need any advice, let me know." He leaned back and gave a thumbs up. Before I could say anything, he went to Casslynn. "Yeah, I need to help Leon with Sonia. Brother is helpless." He shrugged, Casslynn looked at Leon. "Finally, you know how long I've been shipping you two? Raihan, help this man, please." Leon looked defeated, i wondered if he dreaded confronting his feelings."What if she rejects me?"

This is something I am afraid of, too. Do I risk having a shot with Casslynn by making a move, or do I wait patiently and find out if she feels the same. I could be wrong, but I think Gordie likes her as well. Especially after how ridiculous we acted after she passed out last night. Snapping back from my thoughts, Casslynn furrowed her eyebrows, looking at him. "Leon, I won't have just said that I shipped you two for a long time if she didn't think of you that way. She's my best friend. I know who she likes and doesn't like. You'll be fine."

Leon gave a small smile. "Thanks, Casslynn, that helps a lot." Raihan puts his hand on Leon's shoulder. "I'm sure if you need help picking out something Sonia would like, Casslynn would gladly help." Raihan said. Casslynn smiled brightly. "Yup!" Leon nodded."Okay, let's go, Raihan. See you guys later." I waved goodbye."See you later." I turned to Casslynn, who did the same. "Well, Lucario is waiting on us. Let's go!" She said, grabbing my hand and having me follow along. I felt myself blush at this cute gesture.

"Okay!" I kept up with her pace, and Lucario looked over his shoulder, looking at me. I gave him a soft smile. He must be protective of Casslynn, that I have no doubt about. If I want to win her heart, I have to get Lucario's approval and probably Sonia's as well.

-Casslynn's Pov-

I couldn't help it, but there's no turning back now. I'm holding Milo's hand. I could scream with joy, I knew Lucario would run fast, so I took this as an opportunity. I know this will only last a minute, I'll just let go when we get there. Lucario stopped and pointed at Meganium and her siblings, I let go of Milo's hand. They were relaxing under a big oak tree.

"There they are, good afternoon, you three! How's my favorite set of sisters?" I asked as Bayleef and Chikorita got up and ran to me. Meganium just stayed lying down, looking in our direction. "I hope Leon and Raihan didn't disturb you." Meganium shook her head no. "That's good." Chikorita went to Milo, looked up at him. "Chiko?"

"Why, hello there! I'm Milo! I'm Casslynn's friend and neighbor. If I must say, you and your sisters have such a healthy shade of green for grass types. I so happen to specialize in grass-type Pokémon." Milo introduced himself. Chikorita smiled happily at him, then turned to me using one of her vines from vine wipe. Wrapping it around me pushed me, having my body face towards Milo. "Wait a minute, what are you doing, Chikorita? Gahh!" Bayleef bumps into me, making stumble toward Milo.

"You okay?" Milo catches me by the shoulders, with worry in his emerald eyes. I felt my heart flutter when I looked into them. "Y-yeah, sorry Chikorita must've noticed Bayleef's trip before I could." I managed to say as he let me go gently. Are these Pokémon really trying to set me up right now? Seriously? I hear both of our phones make a buzz noise.

Milo checks his phone while I try and grab mine. "Pants, Arlo needs me back at the farm." I was sad, but it's probably for the best. Especially with these scheming Pokémon. "That's alright," I checked mine really quick. I have a message from Sonia. "Looks like I need to call Sonia here in a bit anyway."

"Well, whenever I have time. Wanna grab some coffee at the cafe sometime next week?" He asked while rubbing the back of his neck. "Ooo, that sounds good. Yeah, I'd love to! I'm free pretty much all week next week. Just message me when you want to go." I didn't think much about why he asked me at the moment, I will later. "Great, I'll talk to you later then. Goodbye Casslynn!" He went home.

I looked back at Bayleef and Chikorita. "I can't believe you two." They just looked at me with devious grins. Sonia text message was telling me to call her when I'm alone, ASAP. Dialing her number, I started to head back as well. She picks up the phone. "Hey Sonia-" I began. "So Milo, huh?"
