A few days has passed, and finished moving things, setting them up. Thankfully Sonia set up the whole lot so I can let any of my pokemon out, kinda like Professor Oak's place back in the Kanto region. Mum and Pa are here as well, Pa checking every nook and cranny for any future problems, as for mum.
"Oh dear this would be a nice room for when you start a family!" Mum started day dreaming about grandchildren all ready. "Mum, that's not gonna happen for a little while longer, plus I haven't had a boyfriend in few years." I sighed not really wanting to talk about it. "Sorry, you know just how excited I am for you to make this big step in your life."
I smiled. "I know, thank you lots mum." I walked over and we hugged. "Now, have you decided you and Pa are gonna be here for the house welcoming party tomorrow?" I asked. "Of course, I'll be cooking too, your Pa can handle grill." She said as dad came and found us in one of the extra rooms. "You bet I will, your mum and I are going to the store after we leaving here, oh and the house looks to be in tip top shape dear." He went and ruffled my hair.
"Thanks Pa, though I already knew that." He chuckles. "Well I have to make sure. Plus..." He went and whispered in my ear. "There's a nice spot for a man cave/she cave." I laughed, because I thought same. "That's the plan Pa." I whispered back as he patted my back.
After a little while they both left for the store for tomorrow, I'm in my bedroom looking out of my window seeing all my pokemon happily roaming and enjoying the new opened space. 'I might terraform the land for specific landscapes, might be a long process, but they will love it.'
I make my way to the stairs to go down the first floor, grabbing a sketchbook along the way, heading for the back door to the ranch. I open up the sketchbook getting a rough draft going of said ranch, but being small was a disadvantage.
I look around and greet some old Pokémon friends spotting Lucario who was meditating. "Hey Lucario, do you know where Dragonite is? I could use some help." I asked which he nodded and then pointing up to the sky where Dragonite was. "Sweet thanks, Lucario. How are things with everyone else?." I have Lucario and others keep watch of everyone until things are more settled. Lucario smiled and nodded. "Lucar." I smiled back and turned to Dragonite's direction. "Good, if anyone gets hurt you know what to do." I said waving good-bye, and he went back to meditating.
Upon seeing Dragonite, I call for her. "Dragonite!" She turned to look my way and with a blink of an eye she gives me a hug like tackle. "Hey girl, you enjoying this fresh air?" She nodded "Think you can give me a lift? I wanna do a rough draft of the land." She nodded once more and let go of me and I hopped on her shoulders. "Okay now easy... I'm not the Sea Incarnate like you are." She smiled and took off gently. 'Thank goodness...' I had raised Dragonite from a Dratini, I caught them in the Kanto region.
I can tell she enjoyed my company, so let her fly a little longer despite being finished with the sketch. I look over yonder near Milo's place, too see him working with his Wooloo. "You see over there Dragonite? The guy with the straw hat is our neighbor. His name is Milo, he is also the grass-type gym leader of Turffield." I told her. "Drago!" She responded with a smile.
"Dragonite?" She questioned, pointed in his direction. "What is it? Oh." It seems one of his Wooloo got out, is now in the ranch and he's chasing it. "Let's help him out, like good neighbors." She nodded and went a little fast, thankfully she held onto my legs. Landing infront of the Wooloo, stopping it in its tracks.
"Whoa a Dragonite." I heard Milo say. "Good job... Dragonite..." my head spinning a little from the sudden burst of speed. "Casslynn?" Kinda upside down, hanging on her shoulders holding on to the sketchbook. 'So glad I'm not wearing a skirt, this would've been embarrassing.
The Wooloo tried to escape but Dragonite grabbed onto it... letting go of me. 'This is it, this is where I die.' I thought and had mentally prepared for impact to the ground, but it never happened. Instead, I opened up one of my eyes to see Milo's bright face. "Whew, that could've been a bloody hard fall." He smiling. 'That smile.. wait a minute."
I thought for a moment both of my eyes blinking. 'He's carrying me bridal style.' I felt my face heat up for a sec. "Yeah, Thank you, Milo." I gave a closed eye smile back at him. Not seeing him blush this time. He gently put me down. "Thank you both for helping me with my Wooloo." He said to both me and Dragonite. Which she put down the Wooloo and pat it on the head once.
"You're welcome, Milo. After all that's what neighbors and friends are for." I said happily, and I thought for a second. "Hey we never exchanged numbers, did we?" He put his hand behind his neck. "Nope, but here." He opened up his phone for a new contact and handed it to me. I put my sketchbook under my arm and grabbed my phone and did the same, we then exchanged numbers.
"There we go! You can text me anytime if you need a hand." I said. He nodded "Right back at ya. By the way, why do you have a sketckbook out? If you don't mind me asking."
I smiled. "I don't mind, you can look at it and the other pages aswell." I opened the sketchbook up to the page where I had the rough draft of the ranch.
"I asked Dragonite to give a lift so I could make rough draft of the ranch, incase I ever make some projects, like building habitats for my pokemon to feel more at home." I said, he nodded and looked at some other pages. "Well ain't that something. You're really good at drawing." He complimented, making me blush a little. I've been complimented before, but it felt nice hearing it from him for some reason.
"Thank you." I looked at the current one he was looking at. It was the of Meganium and it's siblings playing together, from youngest to oldest. "Is that the Chikorita evolution line?" He asked curiously with a little surprise smile, I giggled lightly holding my hand to face to hide it. "Yes it is. They help me out as well, I'm sure you'll see them tomorrow, if you still want too." He closed the sketchbook he gave me his signature light and genuine smiles.
"Of course I want to come over." I feel myself grin widely. "Great! I'll see you around 4? My father is gonna be the grill master tomorrow." He nodded "I'll be there, see you tomorrow Casslynn. Come on, Wooloo better start heading home, the others might be missing you." He said walking with the Wooloo. "See ya tomorrow Milo." I waved goodbye, and so did Dragonite.
Watching him walk away "Welp better get going, gotta party to start getting ready." Looking up at Dragonite who looked at me and nodded. I hopped on her shoulders once more. "This time, don't drop me." I laughed rubbing her head a little, she hummed and took off.
