Alea digs in her dresser. "Seriously? Where is that dress?!" In anger, she slams the dresser shut. Unexpectedly, someone knocks on Alea's door. "Ça va Alea? You seem upset." Laila concerns. "Yeah, I can't find my ruby dress!" Laila tucks Alea's hair behind her ear. "I'm sure it will come up. Do you want some help?" Alea gives her a partial smile. "Please?" Laila proudly dusts off her loose dress. "Have you checked the closet?" A light switches on in Alea's head. Embarrassingly she mumbles. "No.." Laila lightly flicks her forehead. "Now what could be possibly be filling up your mind that you couldn't think to check the closet. Tsk." Alea guiltily bows her head and carrasses her arm. "Sorry auntie." Laila scouts her closet. Nodding her head in approval at all the beautiful dresses she sees. "Wow Alea you have such nice clothes, you've got to let me borrow some!" Alea instantly raises her head and smiles. "Oh yes! Of course-." Without warning a red flash hits Alea. "Ah! What the hell-." Laila interrupts. "That's the dress right?" Alea suspiciously pulls the dress off her face. "Yes! Thank you so much!" Laila smirks. "Now let me see what jewelry you're going to pair with it."
Alea finishes putting on her outfit for dinner. 'I need to find Kasim.' Laila and Alea leave her room. "I wonder where Kasim could be, he's been out the whole day and I'm worried." Alea says. "He will be here don't worry! He's a grown man Alea, you don't need to worry for him." Alea shrugs. "I guess so.." Laila leaves to the kitchen to help Farah prepare the food. Alea also walks down the stairs and sneakily leaves the mansion. Very quietly she tiptoes to the front door and lightly opens the door so it will not make noise. Finally, she walks out into the night searching for Kasim. "I'm so lost." Alea kicks the innocent rocks as she starts to give up. "Where are you Kasim?!" She screams in frustration. Alea begins to reach the marketplace and stops to sit at a coffee shop. After a few minutes a man brings her biscuits and a steamy cup of coffee. "Oh I have no money." Alea explains. "That's fine, you look tired are you okay?" Alea crosses her legs. "I can't find my brother. Have you seen him? He's tall, tan, and has long, brown curly hair." The man gives her a sorry face. Alea bows her head forgivingly. She sips her coffee and leaves the cafe. 20 minutes go by. Her feet start to ache so she sits by the curb of a lit alleyway. "Ah!" Alea winces in pain. Out of nowhere a figure withdraws out of the shadows. From Alea's peripheral view she sees a tall man. "Get back!" She screams and shuts her eyes. "Alea?" Kasim says coming rushing out of the corner. She opens her eyes and sees the figure is gone. "What the hell are you doing here Alea?" Kasim says suspiciously. "Me? What am I doing here? Wow Kasim!" Alea scoffs. "You were supposed to be home for dinner, which by the way, is in an hour!" Kasim, unfazed, doesn't answer. "Let's go." "No." Kasim says. "I'm not just going to stand by and watch you get married to a guy you barely even know!" Alea rolls her eyes. "So what do you suggest I do? This is this only option Kasim!" She begins to tear up. "Right now you're being selfish-." "Selfish! Really Alea? You don't even know what I've been doing just to help out! I have never once worked just for myself! It's always been you and your stupid flower dream that I've been trying to make a reality! Have you ever onces questioned what I could be doing instead of just thinking I'm some lazy bum? No, you haven't! So I don't want to hear it from you princess." Kasim, out of breath, turns his heel and walks away. "Kasim!" Alea calls out. "What have I done." Alea falls to her knees and begins to cry.
